A family that looks excited for him to be Cat, love it.

This kid has a tenacity and intent you can't train, and I'm all for it. I think we might have gotten a real good one here.
Yeah I think this is my fav pick this year.

Might be the run and dash, might be just the number šŸ˜, but reminds me a little of Blake Hardwick playing defence. Half as good as him and he will play lots of AFL footy.

The family and Lenny are definitely excited for a change of environment , he felt the Saints program was becoming stale and repetitive. Very happy to have a fresh start at the Cattery ( mate of mine knows his Dad)

I think we have good strike rate with HB types. When do the y release the numbers. Do we have anything free in the 40ā€™s? I like backman to have those high numbers?

Number 3 has had some fair players wear the number -

3 ā€” Fred Wooller, Jimmy Bartel, Ken Newland, Mark Bairstow
Geelong's 1963 premiership skipper Fred Wooller wore the No. 3 with distinction, as did the likes of Ken Newland and Mark Bairstow. But Jimmy Bartel took it a step further when he sported it during his Brownlow Medal-winning season.

I couldn't think of one Geelong player in recent times that has worn number 49 and this is why -

The following players have worn the number 49 for the Geelong Football Club:
  • Daniel Ward: Played from 1998ā€“1999
  • Luke Williams: Played from 1999ā€“2000
  • Jordie McKenzie: Played in 2009
  • Daniel Nicholson: Played in 2011

Those are Melbourne players

Thanks for pointing that out, I'll delete now. At least I got Fred Wooller, Jimmy Bartel, Ken Newland and Mark Baistow right...... I think ????

Geelong's only #49s:

Murray, Ron (1959)
Hoiles, John (1985-86)
Fitzgerald, John (1986-87)
