I don't get the Coulter-Nile reference, wasn't he born in Perth?

And the great Archer played u19 for WI got a back injury and they werent interested in him . He basically couch surfed (homeless ), Jordan took him under his wing in England . Interesting read if anybody cared to research him .The posturing about the "World XI" is super weird especially when talking about Roy and Stokes who moved there when they were kids.

I think my posting history has shown I really don't like that Morgan turned his back on Ireland. What about Eoin Morgan?
Well it sounds like the WC is all over.....great performance by Eng in all facets of the game......good to see SA keep up their perennial under achievers WC status.....early days but Eng definitely showcasing their favourite status for this tournament....
Australia are clearly in much better form than that series last November. Not to mention are fielding a much more formidable side at the World Cup.Don't think SA are a 100 run weaker side than Eng either....because if they are doesn't look good for Aust then....considering SA easily beat Aust last they met in this format.....

Both Morgan and Archer wanted to play for England, it's not like the ECB kidnapped them and forced them to play for England against their will.
They would have much more lucrative careers playing for England than they would playing for Ireland or the West Indies so you can't really blame them.

Don't tell me mate....tell Graeme Swann that...just listened to him post match on the telly ....agree completely its early days, but you gotta admire all that English optimism ...either spot on or in line for a huge fall....
If they wanted to play for England because it's more lucrative and the ECB is largely responsible for that by being part of the realignment of world cricket, I would say that's coercion.
Our top 6 when we last played SA and lost 2-1 included Short, Lynn, Head & Carey. We just got destroyed by Steyn & Rabada.
The series before that when we lost to them 5-0 we had a bowling attack of Hastings, Zampa, Worall, Boland and Tremain.
We have pretty much treated one dayers as JLT matches between the WCs, you can't judge our prospects off that form.
Is Graeme Swann commentating? Looks like I will have the telly on mute throughout the World Cup. Can't stand him.
