I just caught the tail end of this, but apparently Woosha is going to be answering questions in the i7 chatroom from 7pm tonite?

incidentally, if anyone knows wtf the 7 chat room is, that'd be just great :)

i really dunno, but they mentioned it at the tail end of the WA news.. I only half saw it though.

If anyone caught ch7 news tonight, can they remember what was said?

Missed the chat - but you can read the transcript under 'ChatterBox' at http://www.7perth.com.au

A lot of the questions seemed to be the same. Poor Woosha must have felt he was doing an online press conference.

Uhuh. a lot of non-questions, naturally
I thought it was interesting the positive things he had to say about PJ's game- get the impression he may be in the side for another week.

also, Woosha's top 8-
Brisbane,
Port Adelaide,
Adelaide,
Essendon,
West Coast,
Collingwood,
Melbourne,
Fremantle.

He rates you, fremantle, even if noone else does :D

Woosha's interview was a good read I thought.

Was it just me, or does Peter Bell seem more articulate in front of a camera than behind a computer screen?

Maybe not a great typer?
Frankly, given the number of one syllable answers, there's no guarantee that was actually him!

so woosher how are your team mates feelin abut all this terrrioisim happening in the world if there was a terroist attck in the subiaco it would be dreadful anyyour players nervous about these possible incodents

Who would you like to go on and win the premiership 2003 besides mighty WestCoast

Hi Woosha Just wanting to ask if I could have a couple of free tickets to a home game - it is just that it can be quite expensive to attend the games.

Hahaha... that was funny, poor John..

Where do people come up with this stuff..

What an excruciating read.

Agreed, although I enjoyed the question that began "Dear Mr. Woosha......".

Reading his comment about Josh Wooden made me believe for the first time that 'couldn't find a match-up for him' isn't simply a euphemism for 'dropped'. I'm wondering if anyone knows of another coach who has consistently used the 'horses for courses' approach - whereby players who are easily in the best 22 and have played well over the last few games might not be selected based on the opposition line-up.

After declaring Shane Cable a star of the future after the last game in '89 (he had a quasi-blinder, from memory), I was under the impression that Malthouse was just waiting for the right match-up for him. History will show that he apparently didn't match up all that well with any other player on any other side.

Qidds, Shane Cable's surname matched the surname of a star footballer. That was about his only successful match up, I think.

How do you get your footy in Boston, by the way?

Fox Sports World is available through digital cable, and that shows 1 match per round (late the following Thursday night) and also a weekly highlights package. It's not too bad, although the games they show appear to be have been chosen before the round starts - there have been several rounds with multiple thrillers, yet they show the 70-point drubbing. Mind you, it's better than last year, where they had 'Huddo and Daics' providing commentary over a replay of the game. Daics used to take great pride in calling goals while the ball was still on the wing

So I generally watch the West Coast game on the web on Sunday/Monday and I can catch the audio of last quarter Fri. night games before going to work. It could be worse...

Not a passionate one, no. Like most of the Australians living in the US that I know, I've taken more to baseball and ice hockey than to gridiron & basketball. The former is somewhat of a surrogate for cricket, and the latter contains elements not dissimilar to those in Aussie Rules.

My brief foray into basketball fanaticism was during the early '90s when the Watto-led 'Cats used to dominate the NBL.
