Again sorry, but nope. They are two completely different sports (and I use the term sport loosely for WWE). Most MMA fans think pro wrestling is a joke (and lets be honest, it is).

MMA as a whole is distant from pro wrestling, but UFC is more similar to WWE than you think. You see over the year believe it or not, Dana has tried to set-up UFC similar to pro wrestling. That's why UFC is so popular these days. The Wrestling type business model draws. Promo, hype videos etc... The only difference is that UFC is real and WWE is a pre-determined sport, and yes I do classify WWE as a sport because they're athletes, injuries occur at times and it's still fairly physical. It isn't some hollywood stunt double sort of thing. Wrestling moves still sting a lot.

And likewise, I just can't get into UFC at all, whereas pro wrestling is a lot easier to get into. It's a bit like a normal tv show, with some matches thrown in.
Yep me either. I try to watch it but end up turning away from it.
Anyway....UFC is heading downwards! They don't have any star power anymore. That's why Dana is desperate to get Brock back.

I feel like im picking on you cause I disagree with a lot of shit you say, but **** me man. UFC is heading up, at a rapid rate. MMA is the fastest growing sport in the world.

And UFC is trying to be like WWE because of promos? Man they have done promos since the beginning. Boxing does promos all sport does promos. There is zero comparison to WWE and MMA.

Every sport that has a national audience has promos/hype videos.

I don't believe that for one second. The difference between the UFC and the WWE is that the actual fights bring people to watch UFC whereas in the WWE they need the names.

Also have you tried getting a seat at a Sports Bar with the UFC on in Australia? It's almost impossible.

I know alot of people that are doing or have dabbled in MMA before, I know noone that even wants to try being a wrestler because they aren't interested in it.

UFC is a shitload more popular in Australia than the WWE will ever be.

Oh I definitely agree with you. I was asked by a mate of mine to go to a hotel here in Adelaide to watch a UFC PPV. I was sort of hesitant because I don't like UFC that much, but I agree to go since it was a day out and why not have a beer and just watch it. I was a bit shocked when I walked in and saw over 100 people there (I knew UFC was popular but not that popular). What I meant though is UFC is in a bit of a mess atm, they still have a loyal fanbase but the star power isn't there anymore. GSP, Silva, Brock etc...

Surprised OTE 99' is included since they never release it on DVD due to the Owen Hart incident. Glad they're including it though, it was an alright PPV. Not that that good but it wasn't that bad either.

:thumbsu:

And UFC have the names. They have the Diaz brothers, they have Sonnen, Overeem, Valesquez, Jones, Pettis brothers, Aldo. Sure you may not know all of them but there is always a new name coming.

Step 2. Make it one of the active/master (whatever it is called) accounts (both accounts (US + AU accounts) can be master accounts concurrently)

Pardon the ignorance, but if you create a new PSN account, does that mean you then need to purchase another PS+ pass for the account to use the app?

I'm not one hundred percent certain either way. I already have two PS+ accounts for the monthly PS+ games.

Was slack :p

Reading up since that post, appears you can. Issue may still be the payment referencing a credit card with a local address, and pre-loaded US credit card seems a bit sketchy.

was planning on getting this at launch but think i might hold off for a while. i'm not sure what other content theyre going to have at launch, but most of the ppvs i'd want to see i already have (and i have little desire in watching full ppvs when i have so much other wrestling to watch) and the first new ppv they air i'll probably be attending.

i'm much more interested in what territory or previously unreleased/currently only available in shitty quality stuff they eventually put up than easily accessible wwf/wcw stuff, although im guessing they'll be putting up a heap of stuff they already have digitized first.

Have signed up and all I did was use my Australia address and change the state to Alabama. So doesn't seem like any restrictions have been set at all. Was on Reddit and heaps of people in UK and Australia tried and it worked so I have it a go and no issues. Maybe they will tighten it up in the future but hopefully not.

For 10 bucks a month I cant see how any fan wouldn't sign up, its looks amazing so far.

Oh shit yeah. Works fine on the PS3. Did what GoDoggies did and used my current address but I live in Florida now. It's alot warmer than Tassie, will have to get use to it but I'm not complaining.

Yeah that happened to me about an hour ago. Waited five minutes and it was all good.

So it's not actually blocking based on IP? That's unexpected and strange, but if it's that easy, I might sign up.
