Will take new stuff over something from the 1980s being recreated so somebody older than me can go "**** I KNOW WHAT THIS IS!!!" for the millionth time in my life thank you sir/madam

Conversely I'll take something that is good over something new that is produced solely so someone younger than me can be impressed by the new shiny thing that they think is better just because it's current. So we'll just have to agree to disagree and leave it at that as our conversation is basically us doing this if we continue:

Rhodes needs to lose it than win it back, that elevates the storyline, it's not like the Bloodline storyline when Reigns just ruled wrestling but it all made sense. Rhodes as champ is just meandering along ATM, I get why they want him on a long title run as it justifies beating the Tribal chief but change it up a bit. Have him lose it controversially than chase it relentlessly before you get a euphoric regaining of the belt at WrestleMania.
I'm still hopeful of an Orton heel turn and then Orton v Rhodes at WM for the title.

wait another 10 years and they will probably recreate the spinner belt just for you ;)

Likewise Roman was a real good champ too. It's just that the WWE Universe got sick of him being champ after 4 years. It says a whole lot more when people are bored of Cody's reign and it hasn't even been a year yet.
Roman was part time jobber towards the end.

makes more sense on all fronts.
Pretty sure Roman was always main eventing because of the tease of the Rock.

The show IMO has to open with Seth v Punk it is the most hyped thing on the show and it will have some kind of interference or no result finish but I am fine with that to keep the story going.

In this day and age, it makes total sense. You get a big moment in Punk vs Rollins that has everyone talking throughout the show and drives engagement. Then you have the less interesting actual match of Roman vs Solo with everyone hanging around for The Rock to come out.

My prediction is Rock hits Reigns with the Rock Bottom.

Going to be a lot of fun this show.

Still no mention of the NXT or Smackdown that will air here prior to the RAW debut on Netflix. Has anyone heard anything?

War Raiders and Priest say to each other backstage that "Honor is amongst us". Nice ROH reference.

Priest/Dom and Miz/Lumis both getting thrown out felt like a waste of time.

lmao Kofi's mum walking off when Kofi wants a hug, that's great.

Dom handing over the title of biggest heels on the company was hilarious too
