Is there ever such a more pathetic club to exist than GWS? through their entire history from Steve Johnson to Mumford to Toby headhunting pieces of crap throughout their entire existence.
At least Geelong/Carlton/Melbourne beat us playing hard and fair.
Grundy what do you say? absolutely immense second efforts around the contest and ball absolutely criminal how he fell into our laps, Gulden tries to hard sometimes to pull of the impossible kick.
Rampe was absolutely the right inclusion was immense down back marshalling the defence when McCartin went down just hope the best for his recovery Hamling can come in next week against his old side.

Great win. Was confident we were going to lose, glad I was proven wrong.
Hard to believe we've only lost 1 game for the year which was against bloody Richmond of all teams....
Hayward was magnificent as was Grundy.
Gulden, Warner, Rampe, Rowbottom, and Heeney all played well.
Amartey out next week.
Pity about McCartin, hope he is okay.

A good win. Played the conditions well in the end. Dominate in the midfield which was awesome
A lot of inside 50s which suggests we should have smashed them but we couldn't bring the ball to ground at all particularly in the first term. And GWS when they got inside 50 were very damaging.

Changing of the guard as a team imo
Q2 when challenged in the contest in previous years we go to water , today complete opposite as we were the bullies and went to work.
We are a contender if we play that brand.

Maturity is really starting to build with this side, loved that goal late in the third term after getting done out the back.
Ground level game was fantastic, mids gelled together really well. Grundy was awesome to watch with his tackling. Negating Whitfield, their smalls and their ball movement was key, had the game on our terms pretty much the whole second half.
Haywards was elite, pressure and overhead marking was the difference. Best game I've seen Rampe play in a long time too.

First quarter was kind of rubbish and Gulden led the way trying to be fancy. Sounds like Horse gave them a rocket, Gulden said he was told that at quarter time,
They all lifted, Heeney was good all day,
Gudlen and Warner were crucial and lifted as we lifted
Hayward showed again how he impacts in bursts and just has to take his chances, his first quarter tackle showed he was on early.
Midfield was dominant workrate wise, but I think the weather helped us, when it was dry it was hack kicks, then the hack kicks kind of worked a bit, though we did use it smarter.
Big difference to me was Grundy, his ruckwork and willingness to be an extra mid was crucial and won the game, he probably gets ignored in votes, but without him we dont win imo.
