One of our very best wins. We were toying with them for basically the whole second half despite what the scoreboard says. Had them rattled and all out of sorts. And they're a good side. There's not much of a greater endorsement for our quality than doing that to an opponent.

Hayward was our BOG for mine, because his goals and pressure felt like both the difference in quality early on, and then the difference in scoreboard later on as we started to kick away a bit.

Grundy was also amazing in an old-fashioned ruckman way - quality tap work and then gritty follow-up, as shown by his tackles.

Rampe, Heeney & Rowbottom were all amazing.

McLean is our best tall right now and got better as the game went on. Melican continues to impress (so happy for him). And Lloyd is building really nicely on the wing.

And we did all of this with pretty underwhelming performances from a number of players (though even the worst had their moments.)

Rampe makes a huge difference , what a comeback match - brilliant

Rampe was enormous. But so was the entire back half of the team. So many composed, polished performances.

Absolutely dominant after quarter time. A statement win against the Plasticos.

Grundy absolutely terrific. Midfield brigade all a step above today in their different role. Defence great, especially given McCartin going off.

A hell of a lot to like, and no matter what the VFLMedia says, we are in this up to our eyeballs.

Hard to have any complaints about that. What a great performance. Contributions all over the park. Errol got cleaner as the game got scrapper somehow. He, Warner and Heeney were unbelievable and absoliteoy smashed their midfield.

Grundy was immense, and generally what a trade period for us last year. Grundy, Adams and Jordon all look like important players for us (we're really making the most of what Jordon can offer), and now we've got Hamling to call on next week - having the choice between him and Francis to replace a KPD is a nice spot to be in.

Just great stuff all round.

The thing Fox brings as sub is when you have to be on unexpectedly he doesn't panic and just starts impacting.


Lloyd ran hard today seemed to be at a lot of contests, I mean the midfield group just worked.

the sign of a good team ... a couple of stars below best, others (hayward, melican, rampe, lloyd, cunningham) lifted
a great win, and as the season unfolds it could prove a milestone game

Great team with guns everywhere.

I think Rampe with his organising and our defence shutting down every GWS mode all day was the best part.

The gun show was the second best.

Some fans can look like cookers getting stuck into our blokes obsessively
