Hogan's out for at least the first few rounds with a back injury. Probably not a great cash generator anyway at around 220k.

I've actually toyed with the idea of Thurlow at F8 and Ben Brown at R4, if no other fwd rookie options are available. Don't think I will do it but may use as a last resort. If McDonough isn't named as sub I will go with him.

Ok, I have ditched Impey for McDonough and I have ditched Webster for Laidler and Simpson for Houli so I can upgrade Vince to Murphy.
Have I improved or gone backwards?

Worried about my defender premiums. Also unsure about Pendlebury, Beams, and even Rockliff. Beams especially is someone I'm considering avoiding although his price allows me to spread out my money elsewhere. Forward line goes against my rule of not taking too many "power" forwards.

I want to see how shaw goes before getting him, don't avoid beams and pav and franklin are not the kinda up/down fwds like cloke/j.riewoldt so will be dine

I don't trust ruckmen. One elite and one reliable ruck. I'm treating Sandi as an elite still, despite his price.

Never question Gentleman Jim.

And Double the Fist, I'd completely forgotten he was a rookie still. Had a mindblank and thought he'd been upgraded. He's not long for this world in my team unless he gets upgraded shortly.

Not sure if I should keep all that money there, or use it somehow. I kinda like the team the way it is anyway.

I am actually able to get Suckling in defence, but it won't leave me with much leftover, and I'm not certain how he'll go. He didn't really score the house down in 2012.

Also, thoughts on Gunston? Do I keep and hope he does well, or pick someone else (and if so, who?)

Do I have the right rookies?
