Tyson Stenglein
Adam Selwood
Mark Nicoski
Ashley Hansen

In that order. Could of added Braun but most seem to like him

It's hard to be underrated at Collingwood but Presti is. Given very little credit for almost always beating the best forward and allowing a backline to be built around him with players that can run forward and know they will get selfless coverage.

Buchanen: Gets under a lot of teams guards and is one of our most consistent performers. Easily in the top 10 players at the club

Matthews: Even uderrated by our own supporters. Not the flashiest player in the business but does his job without fuss every week. Probably the strongest tackler in our team

Adam Hunter still doesnt get the credit he deserves. Even though if it wasnt for him the eagels woud not have been in the GF. I agree with you a pure match winner.

Prestigiacomo typifies underrated. He gets bagged when things go wrong but you hear nothing when he completely blankets his opponent over and over again. MarkT was spot on when he says Presti's awareness allows other defenders around him to push up the ground and send the ball forward, he's assisted a few players to play their natural game such as Heath Shaw and James Clement. I'm not sure about statistics but I dare say when Presti plays well, Collingwood win more games than not, no doubt.

Hunter gets alot of credit. He is no longer underated.

Tyson Stenglein and Michael Braun are underated in my opinion.

Pesti makes Clement look good

Tim Clarke: Kicking has improved 500% and is our hardest trainer. Plays within his limitations but is suited to the modern game with his running and endurance

Brad Sewell: Gone from trade bait to 3rd in our best fairest after 1 season. Our number 1 tagger now and can midfield or backline. Is built very well now and has come from no where. Glad we didn't trade him to Melbourne.

Robbie Campbell: Was considered a joke on our list only 2 years ago, now probably the player we can at least afford to go down being our only mature ruckman. So much more mobile and can pinch hit forward or back. Will be an absolute asset once we get some ruck support around him to play so he can play a utility.

We have brought in some young players, but they are only in their 1st 2nd or 3rd season. Our real improvement will come from these guys mentioned above who are just starting to really find their straps.

Backlines always need to work as a unit and to en extent they should all make each other better but that statement is an exaggeration. Clement is good. He can and does blanket opponents of his own accord when called to do so and he himself gives coverage to team mates. Basically Collingwood’s backline has been a strength since 2002 due largely to Presti, Clement and Wakelin working well individually and as a team while the smaller defenders have come and gone around them.
