Pies fans are well aware it’s not 2018 anymore. This proves my point. Still rating Grundy lol, it’s not 2018 anymore.

I agree that Gawns hitouts are overrated but 5 goals in a prelim ain't half bad. One of the most dominant games in afl history.1. Nick Daicos - An awful lot of hype for a half back flanker racking up 30+ uncontested touches a game. Do not rate.
2. Max Gawn - Wins a ton of hitouts, few are effective. Only gets huge stats because of his time on ground. Garbage up forward. Proven he can't play with any other ruckman. Arguably loses his team more games than he wins.
3. Errol Gulden - Dime a dozen midfielder for me. Clearly an umpires pet given last years brownlow result. Don't understand the hype.
4. Jordan DeGoey - Played a handful of good games in his career, goes missing in the vast majority. Don't rate him as a midfielder at all.
5. Zach Merrett - High possession minimal impact footballer. Doesn't kick goals. Do not rate at all.
You can’t admit you were caught at blue light discos last year.Tell me about it. Discos were awesome when I was younger to try and pick up

lol @pissinmyeyesJosh Kelly (10 good games in a hundred)
Tim Taranto (non damaging accumulator)
Isaac Heeney (hasn’t always delivered on promise)
Jack Steele (lacks polish)
Harry McKay (decision making below par)
Are no piss in my eyes, only pies thankslol @pissinmyeyes
Is this something you shouldn't knock until you've tried? Are no piss in my eyes, only pies thanks
I’d prefer a champagne shower than a golden shower …Is this something you shouldn't knock until you've tried?
Serong is underrated did just as much as the likes of Gulden, Butters in his short time and isn’t mentioned in those categories.I’ll preface this by saying this isn’t me saying I don’t think they’re good but the amount of hype they get is kinda dumb
C Serong
N Daicos (yes gun, but he isn’t the best player in the league like everyone says he is)
Lever (needs May to be effective)
C Curnow
Andy Brayshaw

Nah, the GOATUnfortunately, the guy referenced in your user name might be the most overhyped player in history.
Don't think there is a player in the comp that has a gap between his best and worst as big as Allir. Sometimes looks like the best defender in the comp and then other times makes some mind-boggling errorsJack Viney
Cameron Guthrie
Aliir Aliir
Mason Redman
Tom McCartin
1. Tom Stewart
I just think he plays an accumulator type role in defence which makes him look a bit better than what he actually is. Feel like a lot of his disposals are just side-ways chips and I don't see him as a particularly good defender.
2. Darcy Moore
I think if Darcy Moore played as a third tall in the Collingwood defence he could be one of the best players in the league but in his current role as a number 1/2 key defender he is overrated. He is treated as one of the best key defenders in the league and I don't even think he is the best key defender on his own team. Gets lost far too many times for my liking and is prone to having a bag kicked on him.
3. Callum Wilkie
Cal Wilkie is a good defender but put simply he has benefited from the Ross Lyon "flooding the defence" system - him making AA this year over the likes of Taylor, Andrews, May and Weitering was crazy to me when as an individual defender I would take all four comfortably over him.
4. Darcy Parish
I just see him as an accumulator and not at all damaging with the ball - somehow has a bigger reputation than Zac Merrett who for me (at this point in their respective careers) is a far better player.
5. Mason Cox
Just feel his output hasn't come close to this reputation he has in the media. Don't think he uses his height and body well enough when up forward and think he is just an okay ruck.
Nah i think those were the last 3 players in the league that hadn't been listed in this threadYour first 3 are a pisstake surely.
Overrated doesn't mean they aren't guns - anyway just an opinionYour first 3 are a pisstake surely.
Agree to an extent with the Wilkie claim. Good player but not AA. Double teamed Charlie with Battle against Carlton late in the season, even when the game was over and the Saints needed to attack.Your first 3 are a pisstake surely.

Toby made him look silly in the final. He looked like that old unfit guy who plays full back for the reserves in country footy. He does benefit from Ross' ultra conservative game plan with heaps flooding back as well.
It's not that he's not a very good player who doesn't win a lot of match ups. I just think that he's a tad over rated.
