After RAW I was thinking, where is Cena to explain his actions. At least on Smackdown we got Cody Rhodes showing up to demand a response from Cena. This promo was probs the highlight of the show.

These 3 hour Smackdowns are really hard to get through. When I see Pretty Deadly or Jimmy Uso on my screen I just can't watch it, just filler rubbish. Similar goes for babyface Bianca Belair, was waiting for some type of swerve in her seg and it didn't come, cringed when she started crying.

Original plan was for Cody to be the heel but Cody said No... and he was right. The timing isnt right at all. I think the views and way its gone with Cena going heel proves he was correct to overrule everyone

He truly is one of the best minds in the business is Cody Rhodes. Wrestling is alot about timing things correctly and this has been for sure

When he goes heel I hope they use this as his theme.

I don't really rate Naomi as she's pretty limited, but at least in that segment, she did pretty well I thought.

Bianca though is terrible on the mic, just feels like she's running through a script. Like Ross was saying, waiting for a swerve from Bianca which never came.

Would like to think the Mania crowd will boo the shit out of her and be fully behind Iyo.

Nakamura had a close friend pass away, give him an extra bit of benefit, even well being below his prime. Not the best match IMO Really showed his reign was nothing more than to have the US Title on a NOAH event.

Still annoyed with Mania 34, really should have given a reign to Nakamura. Never really recovered from that. Not the only misstep from that event either with fellow Rumble winner Asuka streak being broken by nepo Charlotte. Then you have Strowman and the ref's son win the tag titles vs The Bar.

Think Triple H's booking is far from perfect and nothing like his NXT days, but thank god Vince is out of the picture. Mid to late 2010s WWE really was the shits.

I know he's got select dates , but it's the thing that shits me about the current era. Things are stretched out well beyond what they used to. That event really needed an immediate follow-up.

Could have had Cena have a 2 minute appearance via satellite, which would have been a great callback to his feud with Rock where he had a crack for the same thing.

One aspect of this feud also is. Does Cena actually now win? I see the best end to all of this is for Cena to win, give the belt to The Rock and have The Rock walk around as the champion trying to annoit a new wrestler as champion. Could be a way to give Jacob Fatu to the belt and have Roman feud with Fatu going into Summerslam, keeping the belt and then giving it back to The Rock who can then fight Roman for it at WM42 or the like

do they want him breaking 'Flair's record' to be a feelgood moment? If it doesn't matter, then he should win. If he's losing, where are they going with Cody's reign? might not be much more juice in the lemon, unless they want to drag out a rematch with Roman at SummerSlam

If he's winning the title, how much is he going to be around to have matches/make appearances? legacy matches with Orton and Punk are already big, do they need the title as well?
