Dees might bash up the Giants round the ball with no briggs. Feels like Green has come back from injury very very quickly.

Hopefully 70+ Dees inside 50s bombed on the head of Van Rooyen leading to max 15 scoring shots.
When I switched to this game the first thing on the screen was No 5 Melbourne from behind.

That guy is one powerful unit. Just a monster compared to some of the other midfielders.

Kinda shocking how he got left out of the 'best player in the comp' convo after injury. In my mind it's still Bont then him, with Daicos just behind.

Cripps must turn up in a meaningful game before I include him with those 3.

Brilliant Dees Slop.

The hilarious thing was he was basically in line with the goal post so I don’t know how he managed to handball it so wide

They forgot he was absolutely tearing it up before he got injured. Cripps actually benefits from being a standout in an average midfield ,the go to man for them and wall to wall coverage every time they play.

The 4 of them are all champs just the same.

I reckon he got spooked by the McGrath one last night and tried to keep it in play when he could've just knocked it through.

Good effort to hit the post just the same.

With 2 games to go this weekend we have had 3 big wins which also means 3 big losses.

78,91,63 and i thought that Richmond would have been one also, but they actually won.
In the previous weeks Opening Round of the 2 games played one was a 52-point margin also.

In 2024 the biggest margin in OR & R1 was 50 points Port at home beating the Eagles

I get that. I've got a soft spot for Ben and Mitch because they almost made it at the Lions and no doubt would've had they been there 5 years prior. I never rated Harry so it's more to just see how he goes.

When Paul Roos went to Sydney I still regarded him as a Fitzroy player and was desperate for him to win the flag when they played in a GF. Dunno why , mentally I still loved him. I guess in those days when he left that was basically the end of Fitzroy.
I tend to have a soft spot for all the guys we drafted but particularly those who couldn’t quite establish themselves in the team. When they get a second chance, I always want them to do well.

Mind you, Harry Sharpe has not been enough to make me barrack for Melbourne against GWS. 😂

GWS really seem to be on a bit of a mission this year after blowing a golden opportunity in 2024 . Very strong win on the road against good opposition with Hogan and others to come back in.
