I'd like to see Wicks get back to his best pressure inside 50. Enough pressure on opposition defenders introduces chaos. They start second guessing themselves and making mistakes. Eventually it becomes implied pressure. Jumping at shadows. Greene has always been good at getting into people's heads, as is Papley. With both out we need others to get among the opposition defenders. When our i50 tackle count goes through the roof, so does our score.

Gulden in the mids, Heeney 30/70 mid/fwd, Parker permanent forward please. Parker took over the game when we need it. Rolling out Parker, Papley, Heeney, Hayward as the four small forwards with Logan, Buddy and McLean the KPFs.

So much this!! We were garbage in the centre bounces and down back but just kept at it. Great win for perseverance.

Paddy is an awesome story. One bad decision but the rest was fine. He is not a truck. Some people are weird in analysis. We are better with him.

Need Lloyd and Warner to improve imo - Papley of course. One for stability and leadership down back. One for explosive stuff and hardness from Paps.

Don't get Stephens. Why? I just don't see it. Wicks needs to nail opportunities and make some more. Thought Ollie was awesome.

Parker BOG by a mile. Gulden and Campbell will both be special.

Great win though. Only minor nitpicking stuff once the mids started to compete and the backs worked their shit out.

My only real concern is we were a bit soft. No real hard edge apart from Parker. Not saying they are soft but I want 22 hard bastards out there each week. That's our way.

Really tough win against a good side. In the end I felt we had more run and attack and our defenders started to get on top as GWS hacked it forward under pressure. Plenty of contributors. Parker, Florent, Blakey, Heeney, Gulden prob my best. That will hold us in good stead going forward.

I think the only game we have lost with Blakey at halfback was the St Kilda one where they were just playing at 110% for some reason.

Think his chaos down back and around the mids and being able to deliver pin point passes to forwards gives us some unpredictability. Just something about him that can turn a game.
