Obviously played a big game today, and has looked the part for the majority of his time at AFL level.

Do think he could probably work on his composure + ball use at times, especially entering the 50. Noticed a couple costly errors in the final quarter.

Kid certainly tries his guts out and is a bull.

I've sad before that Jai reminds me quite a bit of Brad Sewell in his playing style and build.

On the weekend he was one of the few of our players who kept cracking in all day even when the game was well and truely over.

This is another similarity with Sewell, Brad was often our best player on the days we were beaten.

It's a great trait, shows that Jai has a thirst for the contest no matter the game situation.
Ive posted it before.
Ill post it again.

crazy to think that if Jai was taken with an early 1st rounder we'd still be absolutely wrapped... 3 votes today..
Media would be frothing about him if he’d been pick 1 and performing like he has. Instead he’s a “mature age player” from the MSD last year so barely rates a mention.

Broke the tackles on debut record and didn’t get a nom that week or get a make-up one later on last season.

If this guy was a high draft pick he would be the talk of the town

Got some fans in the media already. Slobbo sounded like he was a few bottles deep but was absolutely gushing over the Newk
Can see why. He is exactly the type of player the scum need.

Needed a game like that to get the media gushing. Now he needs to put a few together to build that media momentum.

$41 for the rising star in preseason is not dead money just yet.
He come into $21 before last weeks game then blew back out to $41 after the game. Now into $18’s

That first play of the game …….. he set the standard for the team today. The kid from Poowong!
Yes, this. Rode a big collision and got a clean clearance. He has exceeded my expectations that's for sure with a lot of disposals this year.
