Hugo Hall-Kahan Height: 188cm Weight: 80kg D.O.B: 22-09-2003
Has Strong Gallop due to connections to Makybe Diva ;)

Hugo Hall-Kahan, who is playing for the Sandringham Dragons as an over-ager this season, would also require an exemption if he wanted to nominate for the mid-season draft after not nominating for last year's national draft.

Hall-Kahan's exciting start to the NAB League season – he has kicked 11 goals in the opening four games – has put him on the map, with bags of five and four goals so far. The speedy medium forward, who is the nephew of former Makybe Diva racehorse trainer David Hall, is a strong mark over his head with an athletic leap. He turns 19 in September.
Sign him up, he's got a bit of thoroughbred in his blood

The type of versatility Hine loves

He enjoys those with a thoroughbred background
We're really excited to have added Hugo. He's got an elite horse racing background, and as a horse, he's had limited exposure to the elite pathways, tending to run more on dirt paths and grassy paddocks. He's never played midfield, but we're setting no limits and think he has definite potential to add flexibility in that part of the ground ....

Has a good family being by Bel Esprit out of Helsinge, and is versatile in that Hugo is able to find a spot up front, midfield or out the back and be successful. Performs really well in the wet, and will only get better with experience and improved fitness.

Unfortunately as he was hard to manage in his junior days, we had to have him gelded but it’s really improved his behaviour.

On a slightly more serious note Hugo had serious knee soreness issues which restricted his ability to play much sport aged 12-16
Fits the Collingwood profile I suppose

And as Dekka would say he therefore has scope for growth !

There's three different types of limited exposure to the elite pathways

1. Made of glass and always injured
2. Never played footy before
3. Ordinary junior player.

Dekka sees them all as positives.

Breeding is good, great bloodlines as well.
Possibly needs more time to fully develop,
But a great Cup prospect.

Will Reinhold Port Melbourne

– 20 y.o / 194cm midfield + forward

– Recruited from Temora Football Club

– Previous GWS Giants Academy Member

Speaking of pedigree and bloodstock I think Reinhold, surely nickname is Judge, may be part of the Daniher family.

If the horse hasn’t played basketball I want nothing to do with him.

Very exciting player! He actually went to Hawthorn as a Cat. B Rookie (your favourite type of recruit!!), from their NGA, and progressed nicely from there. There was no mid-season draft in 2017, BTW.

opps good point... i was suffering from back pain today and I was in a PSTD attack as per amber heard.... please disregard it

KALLAN DAWSON Williamstown Defender

Height: 194cm
Weight: 78kg
DOB: 22/07/1998
VFL Debut: 2018
Dawson’s development has continued to progress well since joining the Club in 2018. Having not come through the traditional junior pathway, he has quickly put on size over the past two seasons to give him the strength to play at VFL level. Dawson tasted premiership success with his Williamstown CYMS side in 2019, playing a pivotal role across half back.
Just know this will be Dekka’s pick.

Liam Reidy 203cm ruckman/key Forward 22 years Old

FFC_Dolphins-quartet-re-commit-for-2022_1.jpg

203cm ruckman/key forward Liam Reidy made an impact in 2021.
His first year in the VFL system, Reidy showed himself to be an AFL-style athlete. He played a solitary game and Ryan sees him as a prospect with untapped potential.
“He played against the Swans down at Werribee and made an impact in that victory. We’re only scratching the surface with him, and he’s one who would have played more senior footy but for the shortened season.
“Being his first year in the system he’s learnt plenty about his body and we’re excited to see his progress over the pre-season.’

If his name was Reid, I'd consider it, as then you could call him Reidy, but if his name is already Reidy, what the hell do you call him?

And Reido became his namo.

Ben Reid was very injury prone. Why would we want anybody who is “reidy” ?😀
