I’d like to like this, but even by our poor liking standards, this one is too much for me.😳

But on that topic, P Daicos must have been an exemplary father who never put his sons down (literally and figuratively).
You're right, it sounded a bit like I was blaming Gavin - I wasn't. He didn't drop anything - it must have been the mum's fault.

it's going to well with those two kids.... i smell a problem in the future. I keep thinking I'm going to hear something philosophical from the perfect one, but his last interview on the field was about as vacuous as something ginni might put together..

I just had a memory flash of the milkman going past our house in heidelberg when I was a kid..... horse and cart...the horse used to drive himself, stop and prop when required...reputedly he was half-blind..

i'm wondering if i'm really that old or i have inherited a memory from another universe...
I remember watching a horse drawn milk cart (admittedly with Pneumatic tyres on it) trundle past when I was billeted in Doncaster in 1977.
I had arrived from "planned city" of Canberra and was excited about being in a "real" modern city.
William Shakespeare was blaring out on the radio and I remember thinking, "what universe is this?"

A week or so later I attended the drawn GF and on the train on the way home witnessed 20-30 "Sharpies" bashing passengers, before the train was stopped and load of cops got on a bashed the sharpies.

My first impressions of Melbourne.

Please let's focus on the task at hand re: Whipping distribution - we all know that the both Beige Brothers are consigned to Kryal Castle in Ballarat, where members of the Public can whip the sht out of these pretenders on a weekly basis (I will set up a Ticketek link to allow all honarary BF whipping members to join the public in weekly un-ceremonious flogging,,)

However,,,,

Captain Grandpa

You're moving kind of slow at the junction,,,

I known you recently signed a deal until 2047, but please, when Father Time says enuff is enuff, well ENUFF!!

Pendles still trying to make the swift moves below,,,

Talking about Pendles. He's shot. Gone....

All that crap about timing slowing down etc etc etc, is now a statement of irony. He is fumbling and stumbling. He can hardly kick. He reminded me of Mick Maguane when he had the foot injected...

He'll be lucky to make it through to the end of the year and if finals come we'll have to hide him somewhere. Now I'm not saying that he's as useless as the tall brown but his days are over....

I think we need to get back to what was working so well early in the year:

Grundy. A million bucks for a spud who isn't as good as Darcy ****ing Cameron. And he'll come back even softer having dined on philosophy, lattes and probably kale while he's been sooking it up in the stands.

SR - have you ever eaten kale? It’s not soft! If Grundy is eating that sh*t he’s skyrocketed into contention for the Hard Man award.

Des Tuddenham, Darren Millane - pfft - they have nothing on a kale eater. It wasn’t even invented when those sooks were running around.

Hats off to Grundy👍

Good point. Kale is for moronic hard nutters who can endure a great deal of torture and suffering. He's probably softing it up with a platter of tropical fruit, eaten by delicately picking up the morsels with a tooth pick.

i'm sure all of us here loved grundy in 18. We were telling the world that he was better than Max. We wanted him in the AA.

And look what that got us??? A useless overpaid mungbean who has about as much enthusiasm for the team as I have for attending a brown family day out.

We need to get rid of him. There's no doubt. But we know that players hang on to these contracts harder than........than dayne beams. How do we get rid of him? Do we whip him and tell him how much we hate him? It's a delicate balance. We know how much the players thrive on the motivation we provide. D0 we get the coaches to tell grundy that his team mates dont want him in the team? That might work on an emotional wreck like treloar but will grundy take the bait?

I think the club should engage in sponsorship discussions with the Saudi Public Investment Fund. Once Brodie hears about it, he will want out.

Yes finally someone that sees it the way same way I do! I said it on his other thread that the he is becoming a liability at times. Don’t get me wrong I absolutely love pendles and want him to stay on for his leadership skills if anything but I also feel like his on his way out and the games passing him a bit. I’ve noticed this year a lot how slow his gotten and how much he fumbles and gets caught a lot.

i always appreciate support but we cant take half measures on pendles. He's shot...finished....needs to be put out to pasture...

Maybe if the team all start acting like these intellectually challenged misfits, Brodie will feel alienated and want to go home.

do we need to go political wipey? Isnt KFC enough for brodie? Maybe take him to a KFC chicken farm and get him to stay in a cage for a week.

Shows you the plight our club is in with this thread drifting off the main board.....

Things are heating up with the grundy. Evidently, the club is going to offer him a payout just to get him back in adelaide.... hopefully albo's inflation will make the $7m look like peanuts by the end of the year....

While Melb players are boxing on at fancy restaurants, a bunch of our players (including the great and powerful JDG!) spent the day at Port Phillip Specialist School.

This really sums up how soft we've become and why the Dees are premiers.

Plus the Collingwood players were only at the special school to pick Trey Ruscoe up and drive him to training.

He's probably trying to play with a broken leg again.

Seriously though, any player that logs on and looks at this thread will be asking for a life time of psychological help from the players assoçiation.

They needn’t go that far. We are all experts on everything in this thread, and if the players need psychological help we can provide that too. We have their best interests at heart.

psychological help? dragging their tails to the players association? You would hope we are fashioning some real men at this club. Blokes who might cop a bit of criticism in their lives and know how to deal with it - shut up and keep training.

The simple way to stay clear of some constructive criticism - like what we dish out here - is to get a kick in the next game. Of course, there's a few others who are physically challenged like the Madgen and the Nobel, but we're only on their case because they seem to revel in their deformities. We don't like to be represented by this sort of "disfunction".

I'm puzzled that someone who names himself toecrusher would be so wimpish in trying to improve the players. I think the regulars here have been extremely impressed with our efforts to encourage the players to get better each week as the Fly goes on about.

We're saving them a fortune in quackery fees. Our whips are all the psychological help they can get - that and drinking a cup of cement to harden the **** up.

I suppose anyone who has seen the new guy's interview will have seen the horrendous news..... that the new guy is living with the Madge.

Putting this guy into such a black hole is like making him stay with someone with covid.....and its a cert that he will catch the madge's disease and completely lose his ability to handle the ball. The kid was living in croydon...why didnt he stay at home? Didnt he want a long AFL career? Maybe I misinterpreted and he was only staying with the Madge for a night or two. Hopefully, some of his friends or family can get him out of there before he completely forgets how to play footy..... not that the Madge forgot how to play, of course.

I'm assuming that it's an initiation thing where the new kid has to start at the bottom - a week with Madge, then off to the Brown household. If we discover that he is able to use all his limbs, he'll then move in with Noble, etc...

or it could be throwing him in the deep end to see if he'll stick around ....

I think its called 'hazing'.
