Add Hawks and Cats in recent years. Either way, I’d happily claim those flags if the arrogance came with it.AFL coaches at odds over Ginnivan's antics

Richmond has to be the most arrogant team and Damien Hardwick the most big-headed, egotistic coach. In 2016, he could have been sacked had the board not been nice. People who forget their past are doomed to repeat their mistakes.
Hopefully this weekWhen do we blood Murley? I think he's coming of age soon. A medi-sub debut sucks but so does dropping most of the guys given our form.

Melbourne players Steven May and Jake Melksham have been slammed by the club after an incident at a posh Prahran restaurant.
The players clashed at 9pm Sunday at Entrecote restaurant, on a weekend when May was out with concussion.
He has been suspended for a week by the club.
The Herald Sun put questions to the Demons last night about the incident, with the club releasing a statement just after 11.30am today.
Melbourne general manager of football performance Alan Richardson said the club was incredibly disappointed by the incident.
“Following a dinner on Sunday evening, Jake and Steven informed us of a scuffle that took place after a lighthearted disagreement between the pair escalated,” he said.
“Both Jake and Steven had been drinking at dinner and are incredibly remorseful that things played out the way they did.

“Given Steven is still under the AFL concussion protocols from Round 11, he was aware that under club guidelines he should not have been drinking.”
Richardson said May would be out this week following the incident.
“The leadership group has recommended to impose a one-match ban on Steven, a decision which has been endorsed by the club’s broader leadership. This will make him unavailable for both AFL and VFL selection,” he said.
“Steven and Jake will also complete community service through one of the club’s community partners to ensure they understand the responsibility and impact they have as role models within the community.
“Over the past three years, Steven has developed into one of our most important on-field leaders, and while the impact of not having him available for selection is significant, what is more significant to us is our culture and the commitment we have to live by our values.

“Steven is extremely remorseful and accepts his actions were completely out of step with the expectations the club and his teammates have of him. He accepts the sanction handed down and makes no excuse for his poor judgment.
“We are proud of the culture we have built over the past few years and while we are disappointed with Steven’s behaviour, we back in his character and will support him to ensure he is armed to make better decisions for himself and the football club moving forward.”
A witness said the players started to “fight” inside but it “spilt outside.”
A manager at Entrecote restaurant declined to comment when asked if the club had apologised.
There were up to a dozen players at the restaurant, before tempers frayed.
The flag favourites had just lost their second game in a row, with a defeat against the Sydney Swans at the MCG on Saturday night.
Entrecote restaurant is an institution among Melbourne’s social set.
Pretty easy selection this week I imagine
Whatever Glenn McFarlane is smoking, I’ll have some.while Tyler Brown was stiff to be made the sub last week and will come under consideration again.
?Did we need a book?
Richmond bias. If you're on Punt Road you have supreme immunity to normal AFL disciplinary rules.I doubt he’s offered the same advice to Bolton, Aarts, Castagnia, Short, who are all exponents of the same “skill”.
Did we need a book?
I assume you're asking a sarcastic question about why the post was so long. It was an article, copy and pasted to explain what had happened.
Kelly back and Moore forward? Or play JDG in Checkers role and include a Midfielder?
I thought of Kelly but he’s one game back and spent all time in defence. Degoeys been spending more time forward but geeze we’d be small when cox is needed to ruck. Wait and see I guess. Checkers might get up, but with May out, and a bye coming up, they might err on side of caution with himKelly back and Moore forward? Or play JDG in Checkers role and include a Midfielder?
Agree with that Checkers is your traditional tough Tassie boy and will want to play but if he is very sore a 2 week break might be prudentI thought of Kelly but he’s one game back and spent all time in defence. Who do we bring in if checkers doesn’t pull up? He’s on light duties this week apparently due to knee soreness. Will be a massive lost if he doesn’t play

There is very good, and there is being elite…this is the level you need to be at combat Gawn.We have a ruckman. Cameron , very good at his craft
Fingers crossedLast time we played Melbourne and won on QB, we won with Lynch and Cameron rucking.....Grundy was out injured
Absolutely, but there is no other ruckman that can hold a candle to Gawn going around at the moment , will go down as one of the greatest ruckman the game has seenThere is very good, and there is being elite…this is the level you need to be at combat Gawn.
He will likely end up playing 200 games of footy. There is no way he is soft.
Once again, where did you play tough guy?

If he's on his way to 200 games of top level footy despite being "softer" than any average joe playing local footy then he must be freakishly talented! Right?
