All this talk about bulls. Like when you're cucked and let the bull have its way with your missus? That kind of bull?

Grundy was always a break even ruck who would be an extra mid once the contest was over .

What Collingwood has found in Cameron is he is giving then first use with excellent ruck work and with such fast transition the need for the ruck to be a mid is gone .

Grundy is now very expensive surplus

You are right if I was GWS I would stay away from Grundy unless Collingwood pays 50% over the life of his contract
Grundy has been a very good tap/hit out Ruck for years mate.

Agree unless the Pies pay some of that contract GWS wont be interested. 50% is far too much though. Grundy is worth much more than a $500k a year player. Remember Tigers are offering Baker $600k.

If Grundy cost GWS say $700 - $750k pa they could squeeze him in and that is what he's worth IMO.

West Coast (13): Hugh Dixon (unrestricted free agent), Shannon Hurn (unrestricted free agent), Jamaine Jones (unrestricted free agent), Tom Joyce (unrestricted free agent), Josh Kennedy (unrestricted free agent), Patrick Naish (unrestricted free agent), Nic Naitanui (unrestricted free agent), Jackson Nelson (unrestricted free agent), Jack Redden, Willie Rioli, Luke Shuey (unrestricted free agent), Connor West, Bailey Williams.

Kennedy is in no rush to make a call on his future despite many believing this season will be the champion forward’s last. The rebuilding Eagles also have calls to make on Hurn, 34, and Shuey, 32, but Redden is close to reaching a contract trigger for 2023. Naitanui wants to keep playing and is on record as saying he’s happy to sign one-year deals from now on. Rioli returned this season from a two-year ban for tampering with an anti-doping urine sample but is also mourning the sudden death of his father. Serious talks have not begun on a fresh deal for Rioli but he is likely to extend his stay for two more seasons. Pre-season signings Dixon, Naish and Joyce might struggle to get a new deal.

Culley was a big bonus. We look to have done really well with Bazzo, Hough, Culley and Chesser. J Williams more of a project player, but could be something.

I'm a little surprised to see you so high on Kobe Ryan though. Barnett wouldn't surprise me, we were right in to Conway last year and didn't end up with a ruck.

I really, really like Kobe Ryan's ability to continue to stay involved in the play and his intent. His kicking is good but not great and his hands are good not great. He is good overhead for his size, he is a good height, has good (not great) speed and agility and attacks the ball and man with intent. 183-185 and 73-75 kg's depending on where i've seen.

Putting in much better SANFL league numbers than Hewett or Ginbey are at WAFL seniors, played one dominant game at reserves (clearances as well) and averaging almost 7 clearances at U18 level to go with just over 29 disposals a game, almost 4 and a half marks a game, 5 tackles a game and 5 inside 50's.

I think he's the most underrated player in the draft pool and of SA's mids. Sometimes it's just a vibe thing and you get caught up. But he reminds me very much of Jamie Cripps as a junior and think he could be that level of player with a bit more midfield potential. Now if given the opportunity to pick a guy like that up with your second pick of every draft every recruiting team would be stoked. Also has a bit of the Mitch Duncan's about him in that perhaps he is overexposed without extreme standout traits so is going under the radar a bit.

I also guarantee you i'm not his father or similar btw I was in Melbourne in the military when he was conceived and born.

On my "List" of players he is outside the top 10 but inside the top 20 and so is Barnett and I think both could be available to us with our second and third pick. With a few more of the talls stepping up teams will be thinking Keeler can play predominant ruck so he's probably second taken from a ruck perspective even though he is definitely the standout in the ruck class now. Clunks marks, gets to the right places and has good endurance and tapwork already. Also seems to have a good reach for his height at 202-203.

Sometimes it's really hard to pick and there are standout attributes and standout players of different types etc even around the 20-30 mark but in this draft everyone has at least one asterisk against their name. For me these two players are very easy picks and would work very well for west coast.

North shouldn’t get a priority pick in the draft.
They have pick 1 then 55, did anyone just steal their picks between them or did they trade them away.
Maybe they should have a look at their recruiters and list manager.
They have picked wrongly or given away picks, no one else’s fault.
didn't a bunch of their recruiters quit?

That list doesn’t include Witherden, Winder, Jamieson or Trew who as far as I’m aware are all out of contract this year.

There was some talk Jamieson was closing in on a deal but nothing has been officially announced

Witherden was said to have signed a 2 year deal when he joined - perhaps he’s hit a contract trigger

Might explain those two but I’d be surprised if Trew or Winder have been given extensions before year end

Other than Sheppard who do you see being cut from the senior list prior to the draft? You have 4 picks inside the first 2 rounds so you would think that at least 3 more would have to go. Surely 1 or both of Kennedy and Hurn will go but not sure who else at this stage. Maybe Langdon?

Kennedy in no rush to make a call on his future even though he said himself he is not playing on. Seems to be a bit of a rubbish article.

Hold onto your horses. Or in Chumps case bulls.

When did Willie become an UFA?

He was drafted as a mature age player in 2017.

Is it because he is outside our top 25% of salary earners? Was he delisted and rerookied?

Seems odd.
