Oh hey I was at both of those games. Fun timesOur last 2 x 37 point wins were glorious occasions:

Surely Wicks, otherwise Campbell misses out on a reserves game 2 weeks in a row. McLean might just play a half the day before, just in case.No outs but probably a rotation of the medi-sub again.
Hanners with his farewell game against us.
Buddy only has 14 goals to make up on Curnow for the Coleman medal...
It was kirkswan what said it I think but it is really perceptive. His accuracy is probably a bit related to fatigue and how his body is handling the endurance running and heav contact he is wearing. Give him a couple more preseasons I think he'll tidy up a fair bit.yeah, unfortunately we have a few who are surprisingly streaky kicks for goal ... reid has always had a bit of a tendency to freeze on the easier shots, very strange
gulden can duff a field kick now and then but his shots at goal always seem pretty good
and warner can do whatever he wants
i'm like other posters, i think mcdonald will sort himself out sooner rather later, i'm sure it's a confidence thing and linked to him having to come back after being dropped ... i have faith in him, think he's an absolute star in the making
Didn't a team try and tag him early a few weeks back? Remember someone commenting on it in the gameday thread, might have been a bit of commentary I missed. It didn't sound like it was working at all.Keen to see how we go against the Windhager tag. Probably will go to Warner to eliminate the metres gained, which will be good experience for him.
Lachlan Ash went to him v GWS.Didn't a team try and tag him early a few weeks back? Remember someone commenting on it in the gameday thread, might have been a bit of commentary I missed. It didn't sound like it was working at all.
That was also a day or two after the photo leak, I wouldn't put that solely down to the tag.Lachlan Ash went to him v GWS.
Chad had a very good 1st qtr, but quieter for the rest of the game, but still contributed.
Windhager has been very good in a shutdown role, so I actually hope he does go to Chad, as he'll need to get used to the attention and learn how to cope with the tag.
Seems to me to be the sort of the bloke that won't be fazed by the attention and just another stage in his development.

The have the cue in the rack I thinkThere outs are pretty big also
I wouldn't read much into it. We're playing reserves the day before, and often leave out a tall and the eventual medi-sub from the reserves lineup in that scenario. I suspect McLean will still play a half maybe, before resting up in case of a late out to a tall. It means the club could want Amartey to keep getting maximum game time and to stay in form, because he's actually next in if there's an injury in finals. Or we think Amartey will be more important to a reserves win, top 4 there, and prolonging the backup of having reserves play through our senior finals run. You can argue it both ways.Interesting that McLean has been named ahead of Armatey. I wonder if they'll give him a go heading into finals, or if they've drawn a line through Armatey for the rest of the season. I can't really see how McLean gets a game unless there's an injury, and I can't see how Armatey would have fallen out of favour (I thought he was decent without setting the world alight). I can see why the coaches would want to give McLean a look before heading into finals though. But I assume we'll go in unchanged.
My take on how the team is written is that McLean will replace McDonald OR they're having a kick-off at Friday training. Curiously worded. NOT "No change" or "McLean in for McDonald". Silence.Surely Wicks, otherwise Campbell misses out on a reserves game 2 weeks in a row. McLean might just play a half the day before, just in case.
Club record 304 games. The Tassie game was a Goodes milestone game I think?
