Grotty weather in that game so hard to show how good his kicking is but he's a nice user of the ball. Reminds me of Josh Kelly.
Much better contested ball winner than Kelly though.

17 contested possessions out of a total of 24 is pretty impressive.

And did I mention he is 192cm...

Have you been watching full games? From the bits I've seen he looks very vanilla. What's he doing well? Anderson looked like he should go pick 1 for a lot of the year. He was a burst mid, scoreboard threat and super consistent. McKenzie looks a bit more good at everything not quite a standout at anything type to me.
Didn’t you say that about Sam Walsh?

"Aggressive tackler despite being small and very lightly built. Very quick. Plays with a distinct slickness and ball control at ground level that you see from the best small fwds where he feels lively and like he'll make something happen. 173cm, 65kg at start of year. Dec b-day."

I understand we need a special midfielder, but we also need KPP's. Do we wait until next year's draft for the midfielder?
And in saying that, I'm starting to like Henry Hustwaite for our 1st pick, coz he's currently a tall-midfielder with KPP potential.
Then at our 2nd pick, we may have the chance to pick up either Max Gruzewski or Isaac Keeler, both promising KPP's. It will be interesting to see which way we go, in this draft.

Keeler looks more like a Paddy Ryder ruck forward. He looks insane but apparently not the most into footy. Probably stays in SA and someone will jump early and hope hr comes around to the AFL lifestyle.

I would rather a gun on baller and maybe a small forward later in the draft. If Long goes that's pretty much only Butler left.

Drury, Konstanty, O'Sullivan or the NGA kid might work. As for KPs guys like Cadman, Busslinger and Cadman look the top one. Harry Lemmey had a shit year but perhaps later as a potential backline convert. In the video plays a lot back.

Draft order for me would be mid, KPD, KPF/fwd ruck. Picking up the minimum 3.

But that obviously all depends on who's available ect.

But in terms of needs we need good mids for Hayes to mould and a young key back for Enright.

Wouldn't think Busslinger or Cadman will get to our pick. Surely? Cadman goes to North & Busslinger to Essendon, a real need for those two clubs

I meant to put in Jefferson instead of Cadman twice. I think all could be there apart from Cadman who looks the pick of them but really depends on what sides needs are, GWS always need talls. Can't think of who else needs talls who sit below us, but can't think of any that are really undersupplied.

Essendon will pick Sheezel or Cadman if neither are taken by North. With a top 5 pick, you take talent over needs. Hustwaite is a bad option to pick if you want a KPP, would rather reach on Hayes than waste a midfielder as a 192cm back.

Yep watched a lot of his games. Think he’s shown Awesome running ability. Great ability to break through tackles and get his hands free. I love the run he brings to the midfield. Also a big improver which is always a great sign.

Knightmare just gave our nga Sam Letreille massive raps on Twitter. Seems like a very good small forward
sigh

McKenzie #7
Phillipou #9
Humphrey #10
Hewitt #12
Hustwaite #15

Both old chap
Frankly, been too busy to pay much attention… and on draft day I’ll be hopefully sleeping off a magnificent Browns win in the fine city of Cleveland…

Hustwaite is 194cm, the same height as Cadman and is being looked at so highly for his midfield ability not his KPP ability. Notwithstanding he will have the height to play pretty much any position in the future. (taller then Battle and Wood)

If you cannot see the merit in his height making him a very unique option, then so be it.

What could we give up to get the #3 pick from the plastics?
Nothing. They will have so many first rounders, there will be no incentive for them to move back in the draft.

If anything, they are more likely to try and move up to get the player they want. And a key forward - which they desperately need - from a country area instead of metro Melbourne should be too enticing for them. There is always enough good mids to use their teens picks to get them.
