Don’t know what s**t they’re on but *ed if it’s good for them

Now that Ben Cousins has cleaned up somewhat there is a lot more meth floating about Perth.

Is there still crickets on the key defender front?

I know several weeks back there was something on SEN about Ben McKay, but that hasn't really developed at all.

That was just Rucci making shit up again and the media ran with it.

I genuinely can’t believe Georgiades is being thrown in any trade scenarios with Rioli.

In what world are they at the same level?

An unfit, 27 year old small forward who served a 2 year drug ban vs a 20 year old up and coming key forward. :drunk:

7 News Perth journalist Ryan Daniels reported the Eagles would “ask for Mitch Georgiades” in negotiations but said the prospect was “highly unlikely” as Georgiades “has no desire to return to WA at this point”.

Georgiades’ manager Tom Seccull late last month told The West Australian his client wouldn’t be making the move back home to Perth.

“Mitch is happy, contracted and looking forward to a big pre-season ahead of next year,” Seccull told The West Australian.

“He’s an exciting young player, Mitch, so naturally there’s going to be continued interest from rival clubs. It’s not uncommon.”

Hahahahaha.

Mitch is a low first rounder at worst. This prices him at a future 2nd. No way are we trading him for that.

You don't give away extremely promising, young key forwards, that have done some special and elite things.

He had 47 shots on goal last year from 19 games, hell there was probably a few that didn't score as well. Kid is a 3rd year future jet.

Additionally he was only pick 18 originally because of injury history. If you knew that you'd get him fit and playing as he has, teams would've picked him far earlier. Re-do that draft now and he goes top 5.

If in some alternate reality Mitch did decide to go to the Eagles and spend the next few years collecting wooden spoons, Pick 2 probably isn't right for Mitch, that's probably too much (Without knowing the actual talent in the draft). However if they turned pick 2 into say pick 5 and 12 for example, Mitch would be worth about that pick 5 mark.
