100% it does, north go well he’s playing forward because he’s not in your best 7 defenders hes out of contacted, we aren’t giving you pick 11 for him
They need him more than we do. I'm pretty sure Essendon, Hawthorn, GWS and others do as well.

A lot of weight is put on one game in here from time to time. A lot of punters weren’t happy with Acres when he cane back from his hamstring which I thought was harsh.

I reckon if Acres had a shocker v Collingwood we would of happily sent him on his way. He plays well & he’s a massive loss to some.

I think the club (as pointed out by others) felt he played his best footy when his career was on the line & the contract was set up accordingly.

Now he’s got the comfort of a multi year deal, it will be interesting to watch his form.

Yep agree but that doesn’t mean they get a top 20 pick for him…

If freo got offered 19 for him they should take it and run.

If worse comes to worse north can walk him for nothing

All it would take is for North to have a similar opinion of their free AFL picks that GC did.

GC traded their pick #11 for pick #27 to select the very Sharp we are also talking about here. The AFL didn't kick up a fuss about that at all either as the extra picks are intended to lubricate the movement of talent into the club.

if we want a genuine winger to replace Acres or for depth in general then Sharp’s as pure of a winger as we can get

He's requested a trade but not nominated a team? What is going on with these boys?

Still plenty of time do so, but kinda weird.

Yep that’s trading draft picks for draft picks for the player they targeted on draft night… this is for a player who in the end they can walk for nothing if they have too.

TBH I don’t think they’ll get 2 picks inside 20 from the AFL anyway

I think there's a difference in being open to a move and requesting a trade. When we got Acres over here he was open to a move but never formally requested a trade, same with Jesse Hogan. Sounds like Sharp has just indicated to Gold Coast he's open to a move if they can facilitate it

I will absolutely refer to a trade of Logue and Tucker to North as though whatever value we get being entirely the value of Tucker for that reason, but Snuffaluphagus was right that North could have done the same with a player they traded their second round pick for just last year.

Logue is a significantly more valuable player than Callum Coleman-Jones and they are burning picks they don't even have yet for them.

CCJ was a future 2nd that’s hardly pick 11. Like a said I can see 19 happening but not 11, even with Tucker in it.

Tucker is hard one too read because he is contracted

CCJ compared to Logue's value now - where would you rank them?

They are both able to be taken for free, North paid a future second for CCJ.

I’d have Logue as late 20’s CCJ in the 40’s

But you need to remember Logue older and was dropped & played forward, north will use that against freo.

I’m happy to be wrong, but no way freo will get 11 for logue

GC fans thoughts about Sharp. Sounds like a younger version of Acres....lol

Im not too phased about losing Sharp. I dont rate him. Pretty soft, one paced, not a great overhead mark. He can kick it far and high though and does bob up for the odd goal.

Dare I say it........sounds like Gaffs career.

Sharp yes please. I’d be so friggin happy to end up with Sharp & Jackson. Reunites the East Freo boys. And just thinking about the WA state U18 game against Vic Country how good would it be having Sharp, Jackson, Henry together with Young & Serong.

Lol, you could literally just plonk Acres in there for Sharp's name from the start of the year and you'd be none the wiser
