If it really is down to Scott, Hird and Yze then I see no alternative than to organise a triple threat match at wrestlemania.

Brad Scott (w/ Christ Scott) vs James Hird (w/ Kevin Sheedy) vs Adem Yze (With Mark Williams)

My money is on Scott, but you know Sheedy would be up to some sneaky shenanigans at ringside.
Sheedy would be hiding under the ring with a packet of marshmallows to throw at Brad as a distraction, then throw Hird the belt for a cheap shot when the ref isn't looking.

you forgets Caracella, if he applies, he knocks them all out of the running, except for Scott, maybe..

The Scotts do the ol' switcharoo, where Chris jumps in and gets pinned, it looks like Hird has won but the ref is wise to it, says it wasn't the legal Scott

i’ve got a theory that Brad Scott has actually been coaching Geelong all these years, and whilst he’s verbally committed to coaching essendon it’s actually going to be Chris Scott to move out of the AFL role (that he’s been doing in Brad’s stead) to coach Eseendon and Brad will slide into the AFL role (that Scott’s been doing all along) and Yze will move into the Geelong coaching role. i haven’t worked out what Hird will be doing yet. maybe a Cadbury Executive?

May have missed but havnt seen the daily media guess of how our coach search is going - whose the front runner, usual bollocks they spin.

Quite strange, think I’ve seen some article or post at least every day for the last 2 days and today nothing. Media must be so frazzled with the lack of leaks getting out.

Well rumour has it we should have a coach by the end of the week, so hopefully we aren't waiting too much longer.

I see you’re enjoying your leave productively.

I can't believe Brad Scott is winning the poll... would rather Woosha back.

on a different note, this "from a reliable sauce" message has been doing the rounds

“The Hawthorn report has been under lock and key for months, though knowledge existed at AFL exec level and an agreement with the named individuals embargoed until Brisbane had completed its season. Kevin Sheedy was tipped off about this report through his deep connections with indigenous Australia and sabotaged Essendon’s attempts to lure Clarkson and in the process toppled the Essendon board to protect the club from another public relations disaster. Current favourite for the Essendon role, Adam Yze will not be appointed to the role as will be implicated in the review with the decision to be announced after the grand final and James Hird appointed under Kevin Sheedy’s direction. Media speculation about Brad Scott being a late entrance to the Essendon process is just that, he will be joining Brisbane in the coming weeks to coach his old team. Hawthorn are absolutely filthy on this though the ability to tie Clarkson to these allegations is limited, with Fagan to wear the bulk of the blame. Hawthorn currently looking at their options to Withold a final payment on his contract. Clarkson’s agreement with North Melbourne leveraged the huge cap it had and unusual risk free upfront signing bonuses were awarded with no recourse. This places North in a ridiculous position that not only will they potentially need a new coach, but their ability to pay a new coach is severely impaired and thrust them back into debt. I’ve heard Jed Anderson is at the centre of Hawks allegations and he went to ABC and leaked his side of the story recently as he’s not happy Clarko is his coach again at Roos”

take that with as many grains of salt as you want
