Any yeast spead other than Vegemite is pure garbage and should not be consumed

Best bakery in WA is the Denmark bakery and I won't hear a word to the contrary (notable mention goes to Denham bakery). Bakers hill is overrated
This was like 10+ years ago but we got pies at Baker's Hill that were just reheated garbage from the night before, understandably never went back.

Surely we just **** Lobb off and bundle all the second round picks we will get. Trading the F1 is suchhh a big risk. There are some big players out of contract next season and we will probs slide down the ladder. That future first is more valuable than pick 13.

Freo have loaded up on enough early draft picks these last few years, don't think missing a year or two of them will hurt too much.

Not sure about that. We still have glaring holes in our forward line that are only going to be fixed by genuine talent. I don't think we have enough of these players on our list at the moment.

The trade might be on the borderline of OK if we finish very high on the ladder. But I don't think that is going to happen, and giving away our F1 is a huge risk. A pick in the 8-10 range would make this trade insanely lopsided in Melbourne's favour considering he is unproven and uncontracted.

The genuine talent? Seems kinda vague lol. We've been building for 6 years and just finished 5th and were like 2 points away from top 4 lol. I think we'll be ok.

Is there no way we can get Jackson without sending across our future first?! I thought next year’s draft is good fir WA talent, surely we’d want dibs esp as it’s likely we will slide down next year? 😳

I’ve gotten on board most quintessential Aussie food since I’ve gotten here, but Vegemite is a bridge too far. Meat pies on other hand, I would consider having a coronary for. Where’s the best?
The Pinjarra Bakery does an excellent example!

Tarryn Thomas? Tassie boy isn't he?

Selling the farm ladies and Gents. We are doing a Tim Kelly trade (Jackson obviously has more upside though)

In competition for Sharp and Eagles will drive his price up for a guy who played bugger all this year.

Corbett will land at Essendon as he’s been away from Victoria for a few years now. He toured facilities and still not sold.

Acres is replaceable but a 3rd rounder is a bit low.

Hoping we do trade Meek and Lobb, as we’ll be on the receiving end of overs.

I cant wait to get on a pie road trip when I visit WA.

Have tried Pemberton, but didn’t get to Denmark. I used to stop at Miami Bakehouse on the drive down to Bunbury every week when I was working there on a placement from Perth, but usually had the Seafood one. (Also used to get it for brekky on occasion from their branch in Bicton.

Based in Sydney right now - so far, love Gumnut Patisserie (based in Southern Highlands), Bakehouse on Wentworth (in the Bkue Mountains), Bryant’s Bakery (in Goldburn). Robertson‘s pies are apparently good, but haven’t driven that far out. :) In Adelaide, Bakery on O’Connell Street was worth a visit - they even do Pie Floaters which for me was a one and done experience.

We have been the Trade Week winners the last 3 go arounds of it, feel like this year we may just break even.

I don't like that Jackson deal. But I accept, it's out of my hands - as a mere BigFooty spectator sat comfortably numb in my ivory tower crying endlessly into the wilderness of irrelevance; it is accepted a fate as what it's been touted for a while now.

Clearly our football club REALLY rates Jackson as some enigmatic missing piece of the jigsaw, so I hope for their sake and the frail sanity of the mob here, it's a deal worth its weight in salt. After Hogan's complete implosion based off another risky and high-costing trade (with the same club no less!) I really just don't feel easy about it, but....anyway. It'll be what it'll be.

We better hope we don't go backwards, because a price that high needs justification and the pitchforks are probably already getting stropped in the clean midnight glow.

I wonder if we could extract a 2023 first off Bullies for Lobb and some other chump change/s if the draft next year is as higher valued as others have said..?!

Used to get one most trips to Perth as a kid, definitely noticed the quality drop off over the years (and even at the start my parents would say they used to be way better)

Now it's just a famous name that people just associate with being good because of legacy

Really not liking the future first pick offering, it’ll be very dockery watching us next season and the continual media noiseabout the pick

If / when we lose Lobb, we much as he is a pea heart, we won’t make the 8 next year without him

Melb will be significant winners, bookmark it
