No but we will be in with more of a shot with a better 2023 pick and most likely a better 2024 pick compared to Port.

They really are something aren’t they. I mean they demand to be given everything and exist on hand outs, run by shysters and crooks. The sheer outrageousness in expecting to obtain a CONTRACTED number 1 draft pick after just one year in the system for peanuts… Playing petty PR games, wooing and then tossing aside trade targets, the list goes on.

We (WCE) may not be on the best terms with them, if we were offered 27 for Junior and turned it down, then on face value that’s a perplexing move, but the club has been stung by the whole situation and I think we are willing to dig in and be prepared to let him go for nothing. If Poort want to chase everything that moves then good luck to em, but unfortunately for them, they may be having to give something of value in this case (for JHF). I certainly hope North keeps pushing and doesn’t relent. Force them to pay up!

Soligo is a going to be a gun, you can lock him in for a quality 200 game plus career.

In his first year he’s shown composure, skill, work rate, ball winning ability, endurance and he just knows football.

Trade him and you’d regret it.

After one season he is already untouchable and had a stronger first season than JHF

I would argue that Soligo has better footy IQ than JHF and has the ability to lower his eyes and hit targets

What excites me also is Zac Taylor coming through, super footy IQ and skill level

I'm still pretty bullish about a future midfield of Berry, Soligo, Taylor and Pedlar if he can get his body right
