Why there isn't more outrage from afl media from the gc/geelong situation is very telling. It really makes a mockery of the draft and the afl as a competition. The situation is simply laughable and the afl are a joke. Geelong simply have a feeder club in the afl.

Then maybe they can just have 5 on the interchange and even limit the number of interchanges more... we've seen this sub rule long enough to know its not good for anyone, the players or the spectators....

Yes because in the Veale deal, it was policed and stopped for the integrity of the overall competition, this was actively encouraged despite it appearing and being poor for the competition

Nevermind that renegotiation of the deal Bowes is on is allowed by the AFL. So Geelong aren't even copping a salary cap hit in the short term, potentially.
