He’s my wishful thinking for today. We accept Hawks F3 and take JOMs salary off their books for Meek.
We offer NMF3 for Sharp, GC reluctantly accept as it’s the closest they can get to a F2 and they need the points next year.
We hold out on Lobb and secure Bris F1 for Lobb and NM F4
Meek < JOM + F3
NMF3 < Sharp
Lobb + NMF4 < Bris F1

Next year we have BF1, NM2, haw3, Car3
Would love. But it’s comedy gold at the very least!

No indication? Him being in Perth seems like a pretty big indication. As if we're not currently talking to him in person.
it's pretty obvious which way this is leaning towards.....we require some quality melts people, make it worth your while..

Would it be possible to establish a 'GoFundMe' platform, with the fundraising premise being to raise enough money to tempt Jon Ralph into retirement?
I swear if we could just cobble together enough pennies, we could end this campaigner's access to a media soapbox, and in turn, cleanse the world of the smug muppet's grill/unmistakably imbecilic views!

or we could just hire some hatchet men to punch his lights out...?!

He's on the Arya Stark style list but he's certainly not on top imo. Save your pennies and do Colin Young first and you'll effectively hit Ralph as a two-for-one.

Towards the end of the season I thought we'd have a quiet trade period for once.
I knew Lobb going was a possibility and Tucker, but the rest...

But wow, what a ridiculous trade period.

Go Bell and Wells. Lets get O'Meara and send Lobb and Meeks east.

Yeah exactly, fairly obvious this is likely to happen.
I'm okay with JOM coming as a potential "short-term" solution fix, especially if it's a straight swap for Meek, but I'd rather personally keep Meek - I like the way he's come on, obviously big men take their time, but he's 5 years deep, I guess he looks at his landscape and sees there's little playing opportunity and seeks greener grass, which is fair enough and fine - I think he's too good to sit in the magoos every week, but clearly he's behind Darcy and now Jackson as getting opportunity and I can't see Freo playing all 3 even though I think Wallsy touted that might be looked at (??).

Trouble is I think Hawthorn might play a bit of silly buggers with GWS interested and their plethora of dumb-arse picks they've acquired in this Neverland of tradio tragedy. At least it's the last effing day and we can all just look at the pieces going forward after whatever happens in the next number of hours

My issue is less about the trade capital we'll expend getting JOM, let's be honest, we havent got much, it's the supposed length of the contract on offer.

Four years is surely not on the table?

Which of the 7 stages are most people at knowing JOM will likely be traded in?

I'm now in the bargaining stage myself... 4 years for JOM seems like a massive risk but could have extended Blakely again instead.

Really? We were guaranteed to be one of the busiest teams, Acres was always gone and it was 99% Logue was gone. We knew Meek would request a trade and we knew we were getting Jackson, while being linked to Corbett and Sharp.

It was never going to be a quiet trade period for us at all
