Our list is in great shape. Didn't need to go searching for big names this off-season

Harry and charlie - Two Coleman medallists in their prime.

Cripps- Brownlow medallist midfield.

Walsh- 3rd runner up in browlow in his 3rd year.

Cerra Hewitt

Saad & Doc both AA half backs.

Weitering - arguably best FB in the league.

Our top end talent is as good as any team.

Just need a few of our younger players and/or role players to step up a little.

Still doesn't make sense delisting Stocker...
Can't change it now... But, on the AFL website his manager said he has multiple clubs interested as a DFA...

We could have possibly got a F3 or bundled him with Setterfield for a F3...
Giving us the flexibility to trade future picks... May have thrown an opportunity away...
Scott Lucas actually said " I think that there's a real chance (he's on a list next year)
He's had a couple of fruitful conversations with clubs at this stage"

Hardly knocking the door down for a player that anyone can pick up for free. Just less than zero chance that anyone would have offered us a F3 for him. I'm sure that he will get picked up somewhere and hopefully getting delisted might get him to pull his finger out although the fact that he isn't prepared to concede that he needs to get fitter is a concern.

If you think that we could have received anything for Stocker I have some alleged bitcoin that I would like to sell you.

We can't keep making excuses for why our hands and tied and seeing our depth be traded for no return though. Other teams are extracting more value in similar situations eg Bedford, Frampton.

Setterfield ended up being Essendon's main target, we had some leverage and it was negligent to give him away for nothing.

You expected us to get something of value for Williamson and Stocker, neither of whom have been picked up by anyone yet?

Absolutely amazing to think, all those accolades and we finished 9th, and got well beaten by a bottom4 team 4 weeks out from season end

What example did delisting Stocker set for the rest of the players? That he didn’t fit the mould of a typical footballer? Didn’t gel with the group? Ruffled the feathers of the coaching staff?

FWIW, I feel with the outs (Setters & Stocker especially), we are light on for depth. Relying on the likes of Cunners and Philip to come good and play consistently is a risky move without some experienced backup. Really surprised we didn’t take at least one more depth player (mid/wing etc). I’d have liked us to at least consider players such as Sholl, Mathieson etc who at their best can contribute to the senior team if/when required.

I think it's pretty clear that the club had some issues with Stocker and that he put himself in that position. The example being made is if you do that you'll be out of the club pretty quickly.

I have zero inside knowledge but that much looks pretty obvious.

Frustrating that we lose someone with real ability but it feels like Voss is stamping his mark on the club with this decision. Hopefully it does help set standards.

Got nothing for the players who had currency. Still got Dow. Picked up a list clogger. And no winning experience coming in which is priority number one for this list right now.

Acres is a list clogger?
Statistically the best winger in the AFL last year I think. BOG in a PF only a month ago.
OK he's no superstar but list clogger?

Geelong, Collingwood, Melbourne, Brisbane and Freo all Improved there lists…

Looks like we will be fighting it out for the last 2 spots in the 8 again…..

When you look at what other teams were able to do, it's concerning that we were constrained to such a degree given we didn't even make finals.

McRae has gone the load up route and Vossy has gone the opposite

I just find it a little concerning that sides that went deep in finals added decent depth and best 22 players.

Also sides that went out in straight sets or eliminated in week 1 also loaded up

Sydney like us have done little but have a strong draft hand to play with

Let’s hope we have an extremely healthy pre-season and it stays that way for the season

Yeah don’t really think our players that had currency were actually put up to trade. Like there’s a Brownlow medallist a couple Coleman medalists and a NAB rising star plus finished 2nd and 3rd in Brownlow voting too in there. So yeah na I can remember them being put up

Yes our top end is as good as any but it does fall away a bitmafter to say top 12 the
bottom 8 are the problem.
No one disputes 2015 selections are premium as too are Cripps, Walsh & TDK.
Cerra , Saad, Hewitt, Newman, Pitto & Acres all pretty good additions.
iF Cunners, Marchy , Gov , Martin and Williams can remain on the park and impact games a little , we’ll be playing final in 2023.
