be brave. Exactly right, could skip Lemmey and grab Cowan or Hotton, after reading posts on Lemmey, he might be a lemon. Was going to post this, but didn’t for fear of being shot down and beaten by the mob.
Why not take all three, one makes it big time is still more than a pass for this draft.
Two make it and we’re doing cart wheels.
Three and we’ve won the f**king lottery
If we only get one KPF out this draft, job done and three highly rated talls (last year especially) spreads the risk…
3.17 and 8.73 in the 20 m and agility respectively
Steele is the Paul McCartney of AFL footy.

Not allowed to due to AFL restrictions, RMC dont even get access to them through RookieMe, we rely on the generosity of contacts within recruiting circles to gibe us some of interestRank Time (seconds) Name
1 7.702 Darcy Jones
2 8.182 Jaxon Binns
3 8.217 Elijah Hewett
4 8.247 Steely Green
5 8.255 Edward Allan
6 8.267 Luke Teal
7 8.285 Toby McMullin
8 8.292 Jacob Konstanty
9 8.325 Harry Rowston
10 8.343 Noah Long
The publicly available 10th at the National combine (which included no key position players) was 8.343.
On the face of if 8.73 doesn’t seem too bad.
Bloody annoying that this information isn’t easily available and the AFL doesn’t just have a proper repository for all things draft prospects (Links to any televised games, testing results etc).
Is there a reason you guys don’t post them PmBangers?
That photo does encapsulate his 2020. Hung over and wearing not much other than a strange blanket given to him by the cops - and a baby at the end of it all.
That photo doesn't make me happy. "Say cheese, and then look like a serial killer."
I believe it is partly an attitude change (we lacked a spine but had good smalls and mids) on how he views thier importance and also the strike rate with them vs mids and flankers.I don't know if it's been an attitude change or simply that that draft was viewed as a nirvana of talls. First round was 16 picks - there were 10kpps taken, and a ruck. With another 4 KPPs and two rucks in the second round. Everyone was drafting tall.
Yes, but that group doesn't run anywhere near as deep as 2006. 12 out of the first 17 drafted were talls - we'll probably never see anything like it again. Hine supposedly rated the talls in 2020, but couldn't get up into the top 10 where they went.I believe it is partly an attitude change (we lacked a spine but had good smalls and mids) on how he views thier importance and also the strike rate with them vs mids and flankers.
This draft at the end of last year was also viewed as a heavy KPP rich draft.
But they either haven't come on or have questions still lingering around most of them.
Just look.
Cadman, Jefferson, Busslinger, Burnett, Keeler, Lemmey, Scully, Hayes, etc.
All of them at stages have been talked up over the last 24 months.
Will be interesting to see how he picks.

I'm hoping for a couple of Busslinger, Barnett, Keeler and Hayes. With Barnett and Hayes sounding the two most likely for us. But who am I to say, if we go for different types again.
Van Es is an interesting one - footage and athleticism both appear stronger than Lemmey's.Not allowed to due to AFL restrictions, RMC dont even get access to them through RookieMe, we rely on the generosity of contacts within recruiting circles to gibe us some of interest
It's pretty good for a tall, looks like only Cadman, Jefferson, Northem, Van Es and Verrell did better of the KPPs that tested

I'd normally disagree with you. Later picks are less chance of being a hit, so I don't think you want to be crossing off a huge section of the field because they're the wrong player type. But this year seems like talls in that range are more likely than they usually are, so I'd be all for it.The thing is it doesn't have to be Lemmey.
People just very familiar with Lemmey as he was talked up as a top prospect in 2021.
That's up to our recruiting team. I think it's more there is a feel that a couple of good prospects should be available at our last 3 picks and that we could load up tall and see what comes of it.
The prospect of hitting it at those picks are low anyway might as well try go for broke.
Get best available with our first rounder then go tall for long term list development. As someone else said a 3 kpp/ruck and even if only 1 comes on that is a success if more come on you look genius.
If none come on then we just need to point to most drafts where 80% are delisted after pick 30 anyway.
Not Keeler then?Players we are linked to in that phanto guide:
Flectcher (bid)
Hayes
Hotton
Konstanty
Cowan
Barnett
Ryan
Rowston (bid)
In the ones where he had no impact. In what way was Johnson timid in the finals?
