I disagree. He played some cracking games on the wing at WAFL. He took a few weeks to get the necessary running patterns but he had a run of games where he was back in defence and running along the wing and collecting over 20 possessions.
He does need to continue to develop his gut running. Can struggle at times with the close checking more defensive minded opposition players.
I believe he will rotate between Wing and HFF.
I almost forgot how big his hands are.Looks like his quad muscle is on the outside of his leg skin.

Let’s just hope he doesn’t go down the path of S Hill.Looks like a racehorse!
He reportedly was suffering/recovering from illness during the finals. His finals series was very underwhelming I agree but was very out of character from his earlier WAFL form. His unevenness of performances was highlighted by the two games against Claremont in Rd 18 compared to the game a month later at the same venue in the finals. Went from a top 5 performance in the first game to a bottom 5 perfomance in the follow up.
Do think Liam's running capacity would be good enough to go head to head on Brad Hill in Rd 1? I'd like to see it, but it could be too much of a risk to put Liam's defensive game to the test if Lyon wants to use Hill in 2023 in a similar way to which he coached him at Fremantle
