Just bought a mid life crisis guitar and am now in trouble with the wife. I had a 1971 Gibson SG when I was young and always wanted one again so found a cheap 2002 on Marketplace and went and grabbed it. It's going to end up under the bed but so far it's fun pissing everyone off.

We had the attic space in the roof extended and she knows how much crap I store in secret places now. I was on a non toy purchase order. I'm going to be on Hoarders one day.

Can plug into an amp and then into headphones for quiet practice before your family breaks it over your head

I've still got a couple of amps. I have a Roland JC40 and another Japanese Twin Reverb copy that I can't remember the make of because I've lost the badge off the front. They are loud enough to make her angry.

My son has decided that he loves punk music and taken up the bass. (He got converted after watching a Sex Pistols documentary on Disney plus.....possibly the least rock and roll introduction to punk ever). She's copping him replicate Sid Viscous, he can't distort enough without high volume so learning loud. I recon we'll both end up beaten.

I've got a few tube amps but I often practice through a Yamaha THR 30 II Wireless amp. It's an awesome little practice amp, which you can use as a bluetooth speaker. You can play bass through it too. You don't need a guitar lead. It also runs off an internal rechargeable battery if you want it to.

Jesus the sex pistols were crap musicians and even they found Sid's base playing unacceptable. He could have at least gone for Matlock.

You buy a Line 6 Relay G10Tii. the amp has a receiver. Then you take it out of the guitar and leave it in the amp and the amp charges it.

Remarkable thing about Jones is that he was OK ish, despite never having played an instrument before signing up with the band.

The Who were bad ass years before the punk movement, but they managed to be talented as well.

Who wouldn‘t, Kyrgios is an overrated clown who is unwatchable with his antics. Every second player on the tour would be top 20 if only they didn’t make unforced errors, if only they could keep it together mentally, if only and on it goes.

It was a funny year but somehow I doubt it, he went out in the second round last year. You really need some luck with the draw in a grand slam, then fitness really plays a part with best of 5 and so on. I think he might have adjusted better than some to the Dunlop balls but anyway we’ll never know.

I'm quite fond of the orange micro dark. needs a cab with it since its just the head but you get some pretty sweet sounds out of it Micro Dark – Orange Amps

All of them would have sounded like crap with auto tune. ( my son pointed that out while B.A.D were playing on the radio ).

The Clash were too good IMO. I like my punk raw. It's meant to be pretty DIY and garage sounding. Too good and it loses something.
