Get ready for an increase in the number of those random out of zone umpire interventions where the out of zone umpire who is supposed to only whistle on something the controlling umpire didn't see simply decides to overule a decision that has been seen and made by the controlling umpire.

Who is going to umpire the umpires?

A referee?
All the decisions of that umpire have be ratified at a special quarter time meeting by a simple majority, in the case of purely technical frees but by a two-thirds majority, in the case of more major frees resulting in goals.

🤔 How the * can you sexual abuse a teenager and not go to jail? What kind of ****ed up world do we live in?
If you really want to be shocked, head to Sentencing remarks - CAA

And read through some of the ****ed up stuff that goes on in this state and the mostly piss weak penalties that are handed out

Tldr,
This guy gets absolutely blind drunk, projectile vomiting through the city in the middle of the day. Innocent old man comes by, 89 years old, minding his own business when all of a sudden BAM! Drunk guy roundhouse punches him in the face for no reason whatsoever, falls over after an instant KO and dies in hospital a few days later from his injuries. Piss head smashes his bottle of Bundy on the ground (also smashing a bookstore window earlier), slumps to the ground before being taken to hospital for gross intoxication.

But wait, this isn't even this guys first offence -

Past offending

You have a significant history of past offending. Your offending commenced in 2002 when you were 14 years old. You have been convicted of a number of offences of common assault, primarily against carers, whilst you were under care and supervision as a ward of the State. In 2007, you were convicted of an assault occasioning actual bodily harm for which you were sentenced to nine months imprisonment with a non-parole period of six months. In June 2008, you were convicted of aggravated break and enter and commit a serious indicatable offence. While armed with a knife you broke into a home and punched and stabbed the victim in the lower right leg, which caused a significant wound requiring nine stitches. You were sentenced to four years and six months imprisonment, with a non-parole period of two years. In November 2011, while in prison, you were convicted of common assault involving punching another inmate. You received a sentence of 12 months imprisonment with a non-parole period of nine months with conditions and supervision. In October 2012, you were convicted of using an unauthorised firearm and sentenced to 12 months imprisonment, with a non-parole period of nine months with conditions and supervision. In February 2016, you were convicted of assault. You punched your partner, pulled her by the hair and threw her on the ground. You were sentenced to three months imprisonment. In August 2016, you were convicted of assault occasioning actual bodily harm in which you kicked and punched the victim. You were sentenced to a period of one year and six months imprisonment with a non-parole period of nine months. In November 2017, you were convicted of extortion with intent to gain benefit, with threat of harm, resulting from you stealing a variety of electronic devices from your landlord and then seeking payment for return of the property. You were sentenced to one year and six months imprisonment.

In March 2021, you were convicted of carrying a visible offensive weapon in a school or public place. The circumstances were that you were waiving a 10 cm kitchen knife at a male in Topham Mall, involving an altercation over drugs. You were placed on a good behaviour bond for 12 months.

And what does he end up with?? A non-parole period of five years, five months and six days! That'll set him straight 😵‍💫

The justice system in this state has been a joke for decades, the d*ckheads who perpetrate these crimes know the police can't touch them, and since they dropped the height and weight regulations there are now many police officers who wouldn't be big enough or strong enough to enforce the law anyway and have become just public servant revenue collectors wearing police uniforms.

I've seen male police officers in Hindley street at midnight (which is obviously historically a hot spot for trouble), who would have struggled to be any more than 175 cm and 65-70 kegs, so the visual deterrent can be zero as well.

As per the situation you have quoted above, even when the perpetrator of a serious crime gets to court, too often the penalty is a kindergarten level slap on the wrist.

The Blues are sweating on another injury suffered by midfielder David Cuningham. Cuningham, who has played since 2021 after tearing his ACL and further complications, dislocated his shoulder at training according to SEN’s Sam Edmund.

What's Clarko done now?
Alastair Clarkson threatened a female reporter in an incident that prompted mediation between the North Melbourne coach and Channel 9.

Clarkson told reporter Elisabeth Moss “your time will come” in an outburst on February 1st as the media descended on Arden Street in the wake of allegations Tarryn Thomas threatened and intimidated multiple women.

Incredibly, Clarkson’s comment is similar to the one Thomas allegedly made among a series of threatening text messages to women as detailed to the AFL integrity unit. A rattled Moss informed Nine chiefs of the incident, which led to a remorseful Clarkson driving into the network’s Docklands offices for a meeting.

Clarkson then apologised. Letters were exchanged, with a formal apology from North Melbourne put in writing. The matter is now considered closed.

Why is this absolutely awful human being still allowed to be an AFL coach, let alone celebrated.
