Shit my bad, I skipped through a bunch looking for him but missed the 5 seconds he was on forDid you not watch it?
Take note….
He's the best out of the whole bloody lot of them. He's an alround champ in every way possible.Gold …… gee u would love to have Jai as a team mate.
Rating of players has become a stupid game. It's not all about supercoach pointsHopefully he can take his game to another level towards being a A-Grader of the comp. Not just a B- Grader where this is his level that we saw last year which is still good.
He wasn't even drafted at that point. Pretty certain that video was taken in the 2021 pre-season.He's the best out of the whole bloody lot of them. He's an alround champ in every way possible.
When he was first drafted they were following Sammy in his guise as head coach at Boxhill and he says to the list 'Who's our toughest player' and everyone mumbled with complete consensus Jai and Mitch said 'Yeah, Jai. So let's all go out there and try and find our inner Jai today'.
It's such an unbelievable compliment for a young bloke who had only recently been drafted that there was this unarguable consensus but honestly in my daily life I try and find my inner Jai...I want one of those WWJD wristbands for the trickier moments in life. I'd just hate to let him down and see him disappointed in me!
At the time of that Video Jai hadn't been drafted to Hawthorn. He had just arrived as a Box Hill listed player. It was 6 months later at the midseason draft that he got Drafted, then debuted like 9 days after that. He's the best out of the whole bloody lot of them. He's an alround champ in every way possible.

Next Hawks captainHe’s quickly come out of no where plays AFL and little change in his persona. He just seems so grounded, respectful and humble. Don’t think much would faze this young man but you can tell he’s very driven to get the best out of himself. During the off season players traveling to Europe etc ……. he goes and spends his time in Poowong. What a legend. I predict that our next premiership cup will make a visit to Poowong

63% game time in the forward half today, yet still had over 500m gained and 22 disposals.
And then there’s this…

Loved his game. I reckon his highest and best use once the side is more developed will be as that explosive midfielder who also plays that damaging forward role. He’s a high impact player.
The problem at the moment is he is often really needed in the midfield. We probably won’t play against a weaker midfield this year than North without LDU and Simpkin so not sure we can get away with him outside of the midfield for as long as we did yesterday.
Wish we had two of him.
By who and in which thread? Because that sounds pretty reasonable, even back then.I was laughed out of a thread over the summer of 2021 when I said Jai was the closest thing to Christian Petracca of all players in the AFL under 21 years of age.
I didn't even mean talent wise. Simply based on physical attributes and potential to be an inside/outside mid and a forward threat.
The biggest weapon he possesses now is the elite, piercing kick over distance. We're so lucky to have him.

I think it was the rising star thread on the MB.I actually can't remember the thread title now.
I argued my point and stood by it. Still stand by it now.
