Sorry to intrude but i had to.
Yes a 5 day break isnt ideal but we just dont get run over in the last.

If the crows are down by a goal at 3QT, you lose.
And we’ve won our last 4 4th qtrs, looks like the last qtr will be one to watch!

You led the Cats at 3/4 time in the Qualifying Final last year and lost. You got run over by the Cats.

Im comfortable in saying if the Crows are down by a goal or less the Crows will run over the top of the Pies, you lose.

None of your wins last year were off a 5 day break, traveling and with injuries to key positions.
The bolded may be true but I think we are a better team than last year.
That being said, so are you.

Hey bro, I thought his contribution was fine. We are not a board that stomps on oppo poster’s for making fair and decent points.

Have some respect for the Pies and what they have done in the last 18 months.
Hey bro, you are welcome to your opinion, as is everyone else on here.
I don't come to the Adelaide board to read how we are going to lose from an opposition supporter.
Cool? Great.

Keays does seem like the obvious choice but Pedlar could really hurt Daicos - in various ways. Kick a couple of first half goals on him and it would certainly make him more defensive minded curtailing attacking flair. Peds much better chance of achieving that than one goal 7 Benny (or whatever it is now)
Pedlar hasn't got the tank to go with Daicos it's really that simple.

I'm not sure why but I kinda feel like McHenry is gonna play a full game this week.
He has to, either AFL or SANFL level. Can't be sub 3 weeks in a row.

I'd try him as the tagger on Daicos. He's the type of player who is all effort and not much polish. His workrate is huge, he's got the running capacity to go with Daicos all day and in a tagging role his questionable decision making and disposal become less of an issue because he doesn't have to make too many decisions or get too many disposals. Just stick to Daicos like glue and crunch him every time he goes near the ball.

Even just get him to talk his ear off all game.
I’m sure Ned can be annoying!

How many frees to Daico?

So a heavy tag changes the game from 18 vs 18 to 17.5 vs 17.5, and advantaging us from the differential above.

The math doesn’t lie!
???
If you halve Keays 18 disposals to 9, and Daicos 36 disposals to 18, that gives us a +9 advantage in disposal differentials.

That simple maths doesn't make it the right tactic though. (I suspect the reality would be something more like Daicos 27 (-9) and Keays 5 (-13) for a +4 advantage to Collingwood)

Quality of possession a whole other matter.

Hard tag, soft tag, just trying to make more accountable they're all possibilities. I'd like to see a hard tag but if coaches can't do that because of system then what I really want to see is genuine effort to close down his space & make him earn his touches, not so many receives out in space where he can use his skills & decision making to damage you.

Rory Laird might miss because of a calf complaint according to twitter reports left training and needs to do captains run or he's out.

Sam Berry or Matty Crouch in?
