I often wish we had beaten them instead of the Pies, just to shut up this weak as piss argument.

Then again, it's like the Dockers supporters who said they would have beat us of they'd made the 2006 GF because they won the derbies. I once bumped into a tanked Heath Black in a bar in 2007 who repeated the same thing to me and a mate. I would have laughed but I was afraid he'd bash me.

No danger of him beating you up, you aren't female...

Other things you could have said and been bashed for:
"Pity you weren't good enough to make it, like we were, hey?"
"I had my picture taken with that cup, so technically I've touched more premiership cups than you have."
"Lucky the good guys won"
"* off, hack"
He was jovial but had this real intense energy, like there was a darkness ready to come out. A year or so later there was an article saying he was an alcoholic and used to go out on benders on his own. Would often wakeup not knowing what had happened and signs of having been in a fight etc. I'm pretty glad I just nodded and thought about the Daniel Chick smother/shepherd/goal.

I didn't think they had current players at these things (ie will actually be playing 3 hrs later). That doesn't seem like great game preparation.

Darcy is injured and not playing

That was a bloody brain dead thing to come out of his mouth and quite disappointing since he’s made some good point regarding us recently. Elijah isn’t some bean pole 18 year and he’s been playing against adult men for a good 18 months. He was dog shotted and realistically didn’t have to have to react post hand ball. Actually gross some of the victim blaming coming out of pies fans and those involved with club

Adelaide vs. West Coast (AO) 4:35pm Fox Footy

West Coast have ruled out Nic Naitanui for the rest of the season in a brutal blow to their finals hopes.

It keeps the dream alive that by the end of the season, every single Eagles player will be injured.

If there’s any good news for Eagles fans, it’s that there’s such a massive volume of bad news for them; this news is barely worth registering.

Like a mechanic looking at your written-off car and telling you the sun visor squeaks when put down.

The Crows need a win here as they keep losing one week, winning the next, resulting in them sitting in ninth.

Worryingly for them, the Eagles showed signs of life last week. Sure, it’s like someone in a coma momentarily groaning, but it’s something.

Taylor Walker reaches 250 games this week and it’s impossible to see him not celebrating with a win here.

Plenty of Eagles fans were blaming Braywshaw for dropping his legs slightly when Gaff punched him in the jaw, I think it's the same thing. Gaff didn't intend to smash Brayshaw and DeGoey didn't intend to concussion Hewett. They did though and copped their penalty.

This "he needed to protect himself" bullshit is just insane. He had just dished off a handball and was looking to where he'd sent it, half a second later DeGoey's shoulder cannons into his jaw.

Vic media have done a wonderful interference job for DeGoey with this, between our pissweak response on the field, and then in the media our club looks like the absolute clownshow that it is at the moment.

Pathetic.

Wish someone from the club would find their testicales and get on the front foot and start rebutting some of this tripe but as usual, we sit back with our thumbs up our arses doing nothing.

People need to take a bex and have a lie down

Keys, while I very much agree with the essence of what you are saying.

I don’t think that the youngsters on this board, would rate Bex as the preferred medicinal white powder of the day, let alone actually know what a “Bex” was.

I well remember my Pop’s standard go to after lunch before his regular Nanna Nap in the afternoon, when he would gently unfold the white paper sachet with the blue writing on it and pour the powder into a cup of tea ☕️, give it a good stir and then drink the potion.

Was always explained to me as a young tacker, as Pop’s medicines that were for the health conditions that he come home with, after spending two winters in the trenches on the Western Front.

I do know that Pop come home with a infatuation with certain things French and I was told it wasn’t any on this list:
Letters, Wine and Cheese.
Clarity of what he had be attracted to became apparent when after the birth of his first born ( who was a daughter ), he proposed several French female names as being suitable and worthy suggestions.
Needless to say all were vetoed by his wife.

I digress …… but too many Bex’s over the years can make the mind somewhat foggy.

FMD
Ed still blaming Hewitt.

Jesus christ. I hope someone takes him to task. What a braindead piece of shit. And the rest of the panel sit there and nod. I actually hope the team sees this stuff and seethes, much like 2018 when we were written off, and uses that anger on the field.

I remember on school holidays walking into the shearers quarters at a relys station early morning before going out mustering and seeing the same wool classer (a few times) dropping bex tablet's into flat king browns and sculling them for a kick start...🤮
