Keays will get fined, can't remember who, naughtons headband got ripped off and the culprit only got a fine, but the glasses aren't just cosmetic it's a need, maybe a bigger fine.

I agree on the umps in round 2. Instead of going into our shell and being walked over, I hop we go hard and expose it

The umps set the tone for that game from the first bounce. Some of the frees paid against us were laughable.

If we so much as touched the ball it was htb. By 1/4 time our players seemed too spooked to even give a contest

It was a stitch-up pure and simple. If we make the GF against Collingwood in the lead up week point out the

free kick count in GF's for the "interstate" clubs. Lift up the rock and shine a light on this corruption.

It doesn't have to be in anger or nasty just bring the umpires into the limelight before the game.

Get the message across behind a smile.

Strange logic. Throwing a boot is not ok because everyone is wearing them, but because Cox is the only one wearing eyewear it's ok?

You are right that it'll just be a fine though. Same as when players chuck boots away, or GPS into the crowd (lol norf)

Maybe more so in the heat of battle someone was bound to do it, maybe it's like someone having a pony tail and you rip the hair tie off.

I think those glasses are a bit more essential than a pony tail tie.

‘They went flying!’ Controversial act as Crow rips off Magpies big man’s special glasses

Cox has only been wearing the prescription glasses, estimated to cost between $3000 and $4000 a pair, since the start of 2022 after a tough run with career-threatening eye injuries.

He’s undergone six different surgeries – three on his left eye, two on his right, plus cataract surgery in the past four years as a result.

Back-to-back surgeries left Cox practically legally blind for a short period in 2019, where he had to spend two weeks in a dark room positioned on his back for 45 minutes of every hour, unable to move, watch TV or use his phone.

Fair enough, reality is I never knew that history, did Keays? I just figured he didn't like contacts...

He’s reached a point where he has no choice but to try and turn it around himself — like Pagan at Carlton and Chocolate at Port, it’s now so bad that no other board would risk the slings and arrows of hiring him as a senior over an alternate.

Should’ve negotiated a payout and walked last year.

AFL has conceded Jordan Dawson should have been paid a free kick in the final 10 secs of yesterdays game. Umpire boss Dan Richardson says “the umps had a restricted view of the contest.

Haha and Dawson would have kicked a goal too. the crows got absolutely ripped off in that final quarter.

Was good to see - as they are a side who is constantly on the receiving end of favourable umpiring decisions.

So funny - especially after the ride they go v Collingwood earlier in the year.

Reckon everyone in AFL knows that history. Certainly the players do. WTF was he doing coming from behind anyway - just lame-ass cowardly.

Personally I hope Keays keeps his place in the crows and they give him a mega extension. He's a useless AF player and provides a focus for my annoyance when Crows are playing decent footy. (other than the big racist of course).
