There’s always been a couple of teams that just match up good on other sides even if they are above them.I have mixed feelings about the wobblers v tingles game, ie the former named may not be as good as they and many others thought they were, or the latter named are much better than they should be at this stage of their development, particularly given they were being regularly smashed off the park not that many seasons ago.
There is always the possibility of course that they just match up well with the carringbush, which could be a major reason for the number of close finishes between the two teams in recent years.
Everyone saying croms would get pasted against Collingwood, Everyone saying croms have a bad midfield, yet they almost beat Collingwood at the MCG. I think people need to start taking them seriously, especially if they sneak into finals.
They have had 4 narrow losses by a few points, if they had won those they would be almost top 4.
Let that sink in

F@&k the Crows! s**t team, no history.
Plus their scrubber kick mids like Laird, Keays and Sloane can just bang the ball forward.the crows play best in June because the geriatrics need to move about more when its cold. it's all carefully planned.
Honestly I think our best can beat anyone now. Its just about whether we turn up and don't get too umpire ****ed vs a Collingwood or a Melbourne.Didn't watch the Pies v Crows game but i can't imagine the umpiring was as one sided as the game we played against Collingwood. That was ridiculous.
seems to be a strange level of freaking about the crows on here. Yeah they're playing some good footy, but they are also 7 and 7.
A couple regular posters on here that can't seem to wait to shower the crows with praise, selectively picking the bits that crows do well but ignoring what they don't.
What about the fact they've lost another game after leading at 3/4 time.
We've just won 11 in a row and some on here are talking as if we should be quaking in our boots at the prospect of facing the crows. And that they'll most likely beat us, because of their Adelaide oval invincibility. What a load of s**t.
`Was it deliberate?' re Keays ripping off the yank's goggles has got to be close to the silliest headline (and there have been plenty of those) I have read, it's as silly as a defence of `I'm sorry your honour but my fingers got accidently caught up in that woman's clothing while we at the pedestrian crossing waiting for the lights to change!'Keays will be shitting himself waiting on the MRO's verdict.
Yep. But let's not forget this high hit by Fogarty on Nathan Murphy with just under 11 minutes to play, and with Collingwood trailing by eight points when they last played at Adelaide Oval - a free also missed by the umpire.Dawson copped one across the chops at the end none of the umpires seen it apparently, c
So that stain on his shorts in the first quarter.....A pre-emptive shit - is that was it was?Keays will be shitting himself waiting on the MRO's verdict.
And a solid preparation leading into finals. I am glad we have a challenging draw going into the finals, as it doesn’t give port a reason to drop too many gears. If they truly want to win the premiership this year the every match they need to find a way to win. I still won’t trust them if 5hey get into a PF, because I am still ducking scarred from 2020 & 2021. The real question is how bad to they want it!Our round 19 + 20 combo of Adelaide and Collingwood is shaping up as a pretty great fortnight of footy
If that was the case, we should just rest half the teamIf we have top 2 secured going into Round 24 this year could a repeat of Round 23, 2013 be on the cards?
Crows Playing West Coast in Perth needing a win to make finals but…
Richmond need to lose to Port or else Richmond will get that last spot.
“Farrell from 55 out to put the Power in front and HES HIT THE POST!!, and Richmond will be playing finals footy!!”
Yep reminds me of 2007 and that second last game against Geelong at Kardinia Park. We won that game against the odds and it set us up for a great.....err never mind. And a solid preparation leading into finals. I agree on the umps in round 2. Instead of going into our shell and being walked over, I hop we go hard and expose itHonestly I think our best can beat anyone now. Its just about whether we turn up and don't get too umpire ****ed vs a Collingwood or a Melbourne.
I do think the tingles are better than 7-7 and 8th on the ladder though. I've got them in the second tier
Tier 1: Collingwood, Ports, Brisbane
Tier 2: Geelong, Western Bulldogs, Melbourne, Adelaide, Richmond
Tier 3: Fremantle, St Kilda, Essendon, Sydney, Gold Coast

Strange logic. Throwing a boot is not ok because everyone is wearing them, but because Cox is the only one wearing eyewear it's ok?meh, he's the only one wearing them, fair game isn't it, fine at worst surely.
Cometti is probably just a case of a perfect storm in the way of biases. I suspect his loyalties lie stronger towards West Perth than they would for West Coast or Freo. Obviously in Victoria all the major clubs are still around and in SA it’s 1 franchise and 1 club is unlike WA’s 2 franchises so WA doesn’t have a parallel as distinct as the Port/non-Port divide. Nowadays if you grow up in WA you’re simply going to be more attached to one of the AFL sides. With all the champion players coming in with lengthy careers at an AFL club we just won’t get another Dennis.Old mate has a point. Meanwhile Ricciuto for all AO games, nothing to see here. Almost all of the commentators have an agenda/loyalty which comes out. If only the game nurtured more Comettis .
Right but he literally can’t play without them having already suffered a detached retina in both eyes. He’s gone through six eye surgeries in his career, it’s akin to ripping the shoulder tape off a bloke who has had several dislocations, except these goggles actually do protect the eye. If the goggles broke properly and he didn’t have a backup, Collingwood would’ve been down a man. Don’t get me wrong I think it should be a fine but it’s not far fetched to suggest it’s a relatively severe act.meh, he's the only one wearing them, fair game isn't it, fine at worst surely.
