I dunno about that.

Many great players played their peak footy under him.

His issues is that beyond the x-factor talent, he has no clue how to compliment them with the other players, and usually invests in battlers to flesh out the 22, rather than take a chance with development or roughies.

If Ross Lyon came to Port instead of Hinkley, Paul Stewart would've retired on his own terms.
You get x-factor moments from guys with that ability, but the Ross system churns out robots imo I'd hate to see what he'd do to guys like Rozee, Butters, JHF etc. thankfully that will never happen.

Ross would kill it with those guys.

With him, I'd be more concerned that guys like Houston, Duursma, SPP, Bergman, Burton, etc, become nothing more than honest plodders.

It's been useless with those names when it matters most anyway.
I know blaming luck on sporting results is considered a loser attitude, but I think we have to be reasonable. He was unlucky to not win 2 grand finals and he had another team balls deep in a third, but you can possibly make the argument the shocking kicking from Fremantle that day was beyond luck.

It isn't useless.

The Carr this year is a two way beast.

You get to do plenty of creative and attacking football when you have the ball but have to work your butt off when you don't have the ball.

The Carrnage has begun.

Love the looks on those Hawthorn supporters faces.

Had it so good for so long but now their team is s**t. They deserve decades of this!

I get the sentiment, but of all fans league wide I've never had any bad personal experiences with Hawthorn fans and I wish them no harm.
Geelong fans however can drown in a tub of battery acid for all I care.

Probably been mentioned already elsewhere but former AFLW player Heather Anderson first professional female athlete to have been diagnosed with CTE. She took her life in 2022. Concussions are extremely serious and the crack down on dangerous tackles whilst frustrating for fans and several players due to inconsistently applied gradings and penalties is important.

Dockers star and dual Brownlow medallist Nat Fyfe may have played his last game for the season after it was revealed he had suffered a stress fracture in his foot.

If his footy career is over he could always consider being a talk show host...

Adelaide's best is absolutely good enough to trouble the best sides. I do wonder how they'll go once the Big Racist retires though.
Once text retires I'm not sure how many crows players I'll even know from each other, I really only ever watch them if we're playing against them.

As sad as this is, didnt she only play like 8 games of AFLW?

MELBOURNE'S leading goalkicker Bayley Fritsch could miss the rest of the home and away season after having surgery on a fractured foot.
