I had to take a break from reading BF for a while...the frothing from some of our supporters got too much.

I hope they're enjoying their humble pie.

It's never as bad as it feels.
I wonder what happened to those posters that wanted Martin and Cuningham paid out and delisted immediately.

I mean do you just continue to post and make out it didn't happen or just give yourself a holiday?

Absolutely brilliant team performance. Our pressure and tackling was a standout again. We never game them a chance.

JSOS best game for the club. Newman, Cripps and Charlie brilliant. Everyone contributed. A true team effort.

Great day at the footy.
Yeah Jsos! Was keen to see him play well against quality. Unbelievable today !

can think of a dozen or more particular posters who haven't managed to find this thread tonight for some reason..........busy probably.........

5 weeks ago I wanted him out of the club. "goneski' was my exact wording.

Since then he invested in the team ethos, no more half hearted , one arm tackles. No more 'couldn't give a fig' attitude.

I sit corrected.
think its taken him a while to gain full confidence in his body. Always had a talent to read the ball and can intercept with speed out.

PS ( controversial ) P. Dow still cannot kick :(

I would agree.

Definitely better by hand some of those handballs through traffic under pressure were excellent.

He Definitely compliments our slower mids though. Looked a real weapon at times.

Bit frustrated with some seeming half efforts to chase. Won't stay in the team if he does that.

All in all just so happy to see him get reward for effort and had a chance to actually play (53% game time).

He’s great a winning it … just not the next bit.

I’m over turn overs !

That would have to be the most enjoyable game of footy I have witnessed in at least twenty years.
Such a wonderful team effort for four quarters, never slackened off.
This really is the new Carlton, a team that now has self belief.
Anything can happen from here, the sky is the limit.
Of course Harrys injury is a worry, let us pray he only misses a couple of weeks.
So rapt for Vossy, have had my doubts about him, but not anymore.
Wet Toast has come at a good time, then the pies at the g. We will give them a shake I reckon.

decent article, thought the tackle was non malicious, but with concussion who knows how it will play out tribunal wise. shit, I know the days are gone when you tackle to hurt but, non intentional hurt is going to happen. Its a contact sport. I think if you have a duty of care and non intent all is fine. But a tackle is intent to drag down, how the **** do you do that nicely. no malice all good to me. No needless head swipes, grapples, gouging. Get the free kick and move on/.
