Crows going again with the strategy of I'll give you 3 shiny 5c pieces for that dirty old dollar coin.

The most confusing time of the year :p. So two second rounders (so long as one of them is good) is better than two first rounders? Or is this part of the reparations sought from the AFL for post-gate?

Brisbane, who finished second at the end of the regular season, will host the third-placed Power at the Gabba at 7.25pm AEST on Saturday night in the second qualifying final.

A curfew at Brisbane Airport then means the South Australian side can’t return home until Sunday and would face a likely six-day turnaround to host its next final if it loses to the Lions.
It’s not just the reduced recovery time Brown complained about when it comes to Port.

The 41-year-old former All Australian also feels the decision is based on ratings, opting to put second versus third on prime time on Saturday night, rather than a clash between St Kilda and Greater Western Sydney.

The Saints and Giants have two of the smaller supporter groups in the AFL.
I’m happy being a Brisbane supporter playing Saturday night, but I think it’s a bad move by the AFL,” Brown said on Fox Footy’s On the Couch on Monday night.

“I think Port Adelaide’s been harshly affected. They finished top four, they deserve preferable scheduling.

is that the karl amon from port?

wow, what happened there? are they recording stats properly?

couple of those names on there are bizarre

Watched a fair bit of him after a late-season fantasy trade.

Since the Hawks moved him across halfback he’s racking up a ton of ball and under minimal pressure to distribute it to his fellow backs and wingers in space.

High volume/low risk connections, basically.

I heard him talking about that on OTC. He was quite adamant that we were being hard done by. Then someone commented that if we won we would have the next week off anyway, of course Browny hadn’t considered that 😉. A bit reminiscent of Eddie having a whinge about something similar before we played Collingwood in 2013.
