My go at the team:
Ins: Cripps, Doc, Motlop, Pitto
Outs: Marchbank, Durdin, Fisher, Fogarty
Dow as the sub

Fogarty is the unlucky one, but I'd roll the dice and play Cunners for his class and x-factor and pray he turns it on.

Fisher out as Doc comes back in. Unfortunately, Fisher is not hard at the contest, which is a must in finals. Doc attacks the pill like a cannonball.

Dow hasn't done much wrong, but will have to make way for Cripps. Think Dow will relish the opportunity as sub like has has done multiple times in the last 8 weeks.

Motlop is no question the in form small compared to Durdin. Durdin makes way for Motlop.

With Gov back and spots tight, Marchy makes way. Has been slow with the ball in hand since his return and hasn't really shown much improvement in this respect, unfortunately.

Voss has been quite public about his love of playing 2 rucks and don't expect this to change. Pitto in is another big body at the contest. Vossy's instructions to him will be to go out, throw your full weight around, hurt the opposition in the contest. Then TDK comes in and finishes them off.

Hollands stays in because of his ability to run high KMs, no aversion to the physical contest although he might be smaller than others. The courage he shows and they way he has put his body on the line in situations this season is inspirational.

Dow had better be playing. Absolute BS if he's not.

Harry gets the red carpet rolled out for him after missing 7 weeks and has been ineffective at best.

Tom Cruise What GIF

Was there a separate thread for spare ticket sales? I have one.

Dow should have been in the all Australian Squad. He is an elite footballer, part of the best midfield since Judd, Cousins and Kerr and the senior member of the Cripps, Walsh, Dow midfield, winning as many clearances, meters gained as his contemporary brownlow medalist and MVP.

Hi Mrs Dow. :handwaving:
We all hope your son has a great game this weekend!

Might want to factor in the difference between the many high class mids we have who are ahead of Dow vs our dearth of quality key forwards.

Mckay would be best 22 for every team in the comp.

Only worry I have with Cunners is that the wet may diminish his skill factor. A hard Tackler like Fog may be of more value

It's strange that that annoys you.

I don't get the attempt to suppress the positive talk around Dow by some on here. No one is saying he's elite, many are saying he has the potential to be a star and he has had elite moments no doubt. But eliteness comes from doing it week in week out for years and he's a long long way from that. But to get agitated with posters being excited about the whipping boy finally showing something and feeling the need argue against it I don't get.

No one is trying to suppress the positive talk regarding Dow and I love how he continues to front up and put the best version of himself forward each week

But a few posters seem to falsify statistical facts, reality when it comes to Dow, even talking down or wanting others dropped just to have him in the side

The opposite occurred with Newman, over the last 18 months, people trying to convince the masses that we had better options, options that are now not even on an AFL list

I don't care for the names, or the individual, just the team

If Dow gets picked this week we embrace it, if he doesn't, hopefully we won't see people stating that Voss has NFI, like we saw in the past

I don't get the attempt to suppress the factual talk around Dow by some on here. The re-writing of people's actual thoughts by certain agenda based posters is bizarre. I don't get it.
