This is like someone holding my hand when the plane takes off.
Lol

That’s what’s on show here - most Blues supporters still don’t trust our team.

We don’t know how to handle being favourites.

Collingwood supporters really have no right to be confident but are, we are the opposite.

We are 5 & 2.

We’ve lost 2 games by a total of 15 points.

This will be our strongest team for weeks.

Playing a undermanned opponent.

Exciting to have Cerra back in to hit the outside & build on an already dominant midfield.

Also great to have a couple of classy ball users back, pumping the ball into F50.

Walsh, Fastasia, Cunners, Cerra kicking to H & C (et al), Cripps and Kennedy Resting forward in support.

Our backline looks well matched to cover their smalls. Just win the contest - mids back to support.

Have faith peeps!

I’m sure the coach knows what he is doing but how Cottrell and Owies with 1 tackle each, survive, yet kids like Carroll and Binns are omitted, is confusing. Personally can’t see a statement being made at selection. Let’s hope it’s made on the ground tomorrow..

There's no way we would drop Cottrell before either of those two, he is streets ahead of them at this stage. Owies isn't at his best but still offers more at this stage IMO.

Cottrell has been fantastic this season. Owies had a bad day, but was crook, and has had a decent year so far. Carroll was holding onto Cerra's spot, and has been down the last few games. I don't think this is that controversial...

I don't think Voss is making these moves off one game.

Across the year, Kemp has had good moments but also lots of really poor moments that have cost the team. While it's great he goes for his marks his care free attitude towards defending is symbolic of what Voss isn't happy with atm.

Ollie been poor most this year and probably should have been out sooner if not for the Doch injury. He'll come good though.

Carroll been poor aside from the first game and simply hadn't taken his chances. Can also only play mid and we have our top 5 all available now.

Binns only ever in with injury so not really a dropping.

Cottrell on the hand has been great all year aside from last week's poor game and Owies has had several really good games too.

Carroll isn't offering a whole lot currently and binns is an obvious out.

Think changes are spot on.

Owies and Durdin fortunate that Fog, Motlop and Martin all injured.

Agreed. Feels like a significantly stronger team this week. We're still really missing Saad in particular. Not to mention Gov and Marchy. But reassuring to see Cincottas name back there. You know what you're going to get with him.

Cerra back will mean less minutes for Kennedy in the midfield. He'll probably end up in the backline a bit more.

Not sure Kemp can be seen as a lock selection, so not a massive shock.
This week felt like a battle between Cowan and Kemp.
Cowan lacks a little offensive flair and Kemp at times lacks some defensive structure.

I am slightly disappointed with the selection, but so far I was completely wrong about the Pitto selection.
Team would be a lot stronger with Gov and Saad/Doc over Kemp and Cowan :(

With Gov, Saad, Martin , Motlop and Fog to come back in over the next few weeks, there will be more hard luck stories but we are going to be fielding a much better team.

It's a great position that we find ourselves in. If we manage to come through this period of time in reasonable shape the back end of the season is looking to be hugely exciting for us.

Toss up really

Kemp on Mihocek, Weitering on resting ruckman

Weitering on Mihocek, Young on the resting ruckman

Prefer the 2nd option, just
I reckon Young plays better on the taller forwards which I think is one of Weiterings weaknesses.

We just have to get the match ups on their smalls right

Think Kemp does some nice intercepts which supporters get excited about.

But he makes some pretty dumb errors and positioning/defensive errors that the coaches would really notice and mark him down for...stuff it's a bit harder for us to notice.

No doubt he isn't following instruction somewhere. He is more than an interceptor though. His closing speed and spoiling capabilities have really come on.

Dropping Binns doesn’t really count as he was a late in for Fantasia, who returns. Kemp going out for Cincotta is horses for courses but I prefer kemp and weiters (tough taking cox or Cameron however).

Carroll was only holding cerras spot (even Walsh’s earlier in the year). Now our midfield is full strength with heaps of variables to play around with. Kennedy/Cerra can go forward or back. Hewett can tag or go to HB. Cripps and Kennedy inside bulls. Walsh is an in and out midfielder as is Cerra (loves to draw free kicks too).

Durdin/cotterell/EH/cunners can help out on ball. Or drive up outside the stoppage to link up play.

Pitto and TDK are going to be a handful in the ruck v cox/cameron. Last time we played these guys (and lost) it was Cameron v Silvagni that hurt us. This time they will get zero relief.

Curnow/Mckay/TDK is way too ta for their backline. They will struggle with matchups from pittos centre clearances. Provided they all don’t jump for the same ball.

GB - winners by 30-40.

Owies apparently wasn’t well last week, Cottrell many more credits in the bank as well.

Even for Cottrell not being as good last week, still did more than Carroll and Binns combined.

We aren’t in development mode anymore.

Kemp may feel a little stiff, but if he can work of the defensive accountability of his game, he will likely become a lock in the back half. He has the talent just needs to keep learning and growing as a player

Cunningham is a little worrying with his injury history and lack of playing time. I think he's a player that should first have had a game in the reserves before being put back into the first team.

In saying that I'm not opposed to any of the changes

Kemp out is bizarre, he is the future. Can play taller or smaller as well so seems a bit strange for mine. Offers 100x more than Young not including growth

It’s absolutely clear Young has stayed in to play on Darcy Cameron and spud regus when forward, Kemp cannot play on those types.
Weiters will be on Mihocek.

The changes make absolute sense
