Chesser and Burgiel have both been removed from the list after recovering from their respective injuries

Andrew Gaff has retired and won’t be available to play

The Lions, who are played on Sunday have had their players scanned, and confided the state of their injuries.

They played 24 hours after us just an FYI.

F**k this, I'm going to barrack for Brisbane from here on.

Brisbane have also had several years of an impeccable injury list as they rose up the ladder. Pendulum swinging? It's a bloody rough trot, that's for sure, but they will have all kinds of belief from the weekend's game. Might rue those early home ground losses this season

I’m just happy we don’t have to play them there this year.

Lions are meeting with Gabba to discuss surface and if it is contributing to ACL’s.

They haven’t hung onto it, not all information needed before a press release has been available.

I want to believe that but then ex-Eagles physio mentioned that we book out a few slots after every game to get scans within 24 hours so I'm not really sure if there was an oversight this week or we no longer do that or we simply have an agreement with SJOG to push all our traffic through that weekly segment to get eyes on it.

I can assure you it’s a fact. 👍

Simmo was surprised that Long was having scans so late.

Dare I say, take it at face value.

It’s probably a complex issue. Full MCL tear with some ACL damage, like a strain but not a tear would be my guess.

Probably required consultation with surgeon.

I expect a pretty long and thorough explanation on his injury when the medical report does drop though.

Reckon this is it.

Should be good reading on here if they roll out a TBC 🙃
