Rozee's ankle injury seemed on the minor side of things as he still moved around okay for the rest of the match, albeit he didn't really do too much but there was that passage of play where he ran pretty well through the middle and hit up JHF in the second quarter that made me think he wasn't too bad. Definitely seen the likes of Mckenzie and Dixon hobbling around with ankles much worse and not missing any games. I was surprised with the moon boot for rozee but he probably needs to just keep off it for as long as he can and maybe they won't make the call until thursday. It's a completely different kettle of fish to the hamstring, as long as the swelling has gone and he cope with a bit of pain then it is probably something he can actually play through.

I guess Tommy A can look forward to the game against Sturt

Small forward Willie Rioli will miss with a calf injury.

"We have plenty of options," said Hinkley nominating Travis Boak, Jason Horne-Francis and Rozee (as he did at the weekend) to fill a gap in attack. "We are not going to replace Willie exactly but there are other options."

Realise complete different injury, but Rozee should never have played in Hobart. Needed him Cherry ripe for tomorrow.
on that basis we shouldn't have played JHF and Butters too. It had been 4 weeks since rozee's hamstring strain, he was well and truly fit to play.

i think he needed a run before the Carlton game too.

Out: Rozee, Rioli
In : Evans, Narkle

That's what I would do but Hinkley will bring in Soldo and Dixon. We will play Hinkleyball in the wet top heavy and we will get rolled because of the Hinkley's inability to manage injuries.

I do not see what we have to gain by playing Soldo and Dixon considering the weather forecast and the risk of re-injury.

Evans probably has a line through his name now you'd pick him now or never (bye bye potato)

Narkle never gets a look in he's just waiting to be delisted.

lol inb4 they park JHF up forward and the midfield gets shat on because they didn't want to play a kid who would have a bigger influence than the already gold plate incumbent Jedrea

i think this gets over played a bit, it's a desperate competition, every side wants their best players on the park as soon as possible. Our overall injury list stacks up pretty well against the rest of the comp.
Bit of a curious response given very recent events.

Our entire season last year was derailed by poor management of injured players its probably the biggest issue behind Hinkley overseeing said regime

Our form in this area is objectively some of the worst in the league need I bring up Aliir and Jones?!

Hinkley completely managed the team for his contract extension window last year.. by finals there were about 6 husks 'running' around, what a guy.

Lachie Jones was subbed out. And passed the concussion tests at the game. So why would you enter him into protocols then? He was always going to be monitored during the week for delayed concussion.

We went into finals games last year with amputee candidates lol
Talking about this year. Last year we made some mistakes, which they've openly admitted to and they appear to be being more cautious this year besides the Rozee howler.

Our injury list has been quite good for most of the year.

I just think that every club has these same challenges.

the Allir Jones incident has also been repeated by other clubs since.
