In spite of once working there, Bevo hasn't always been a fan of the Hawks:

And used to be feisty off field as well (comment posted under the photo above):

Look at those guns and forearms like pythons
So like a python after it’s swallowed something wholeHis right arm looks like The Hulk (until you realise it's partly Collins' left arm as well!)
Watching Artie evolve in the VFL he really does make the most of limited possessions which that role encompasses. And just much cleaner with the ball.
VDM is a better tackler though.

Agreed. Some of VDM's tackles look really nice because he's fast & ferocious but he only averages 1.83 tackles a game and is brushed off easily as times. Someone like Weightman averages nearly double the tackles of VDM whilst playing a lot closer to goal.Watching Artie evolve in the VFL he really does make the most of limited possessions which that role encompasses.
One thing I do disagree with is VDM's tackling. It is actually very average. Artie is ahead of VDM for mine but will be interesting come selection time

Tom Liberatore is excited by the prospect of a huge crowd for the Bulldogs' final against Hawthorn.www.westernbulldogs.com.au
Liberatore is confident star midfielder Adam Treloar (calf) and Laitham Vandermeer (hamstring) will be fit to play against Hawthorn, with the pre-finals bye giving them extra time to overcome niggles.
Sigh. Mark us down with another asterix if we go all the way this year, like 2016 where we were the only team who benefited from the pre-finals bye.
But it's very unlikely they'll go all the way, or even past the first final (sorry any Blues lurker)Carlton would benefit more

An Australian heroI’ve done it the right way. Next 9 days in Thailand then fly in Thursday morning for the game.
It’d be a risk but JJ could make an amazing sub for September.
I am loving all the Hawks carry on, the rewards show last night was a wankfest for them. Perfect for us.
Leaving this here.
Should be fun if we come away with the win due to beating them at ground level.
Preview - 2024 Second Elimination Final: Western Bulldogs v Hawthorn, 6 September 2024, 7.40pm @ MCG
Bramble plays on Watson, it’s lights out. Wiz will kick 5 and set up 5 more Only bloke quick enough on their listwww.bigfooty.com
Did you know they celebrate after kicking goals? Also the older heads, wait for it, don't really agree with the carry on! What a development.Yeah it was like they had already won the flag.
You could tell Howie is a Hawks supporter by how many times he said "fun" when talking about them.
Good idea to have those guys play. Arty probably makes way if West & VDM play in the first final.West buku and arty all playing vfl this week. Apparently 18 AFL listed players. Hopefully both teams can go all the way. The longer the senior team stays in, will certainly help the vfl team.
