Dons will want to trade back in and would be a fabulous death-ride in 2025. We know 14 became a Blues F1 & F2 - I’d want a fair bit more than that. Cats likely, but they make me nervous.

Looking forward to seeing the offers. Hoping they’ll be large, but wouldn’t be keen on bringing in F1’s that aren’t likely to be top 10’s. Always a risk they aren’t, too

Geelong are only there due to 4 extra wins each year at their stupid ground because the AFL always schedules the tiny interstate clubs there in the middle of winter.

Lalor and FOS would be an insane draft haul.

Agree with this, I'm an impatient mother****er and as much as a part of me would love to see us end today with 1 & 2, there is no harm in waiting especially if it means getting a better deal.

For everyone getting excited about trading for pick 2, just remember that the Dees can trump us with 5 & 9 for 2 & 25, which North would be mad to knock back as it gets them Tauru and Armstrong if they want to address their KPP stocks

That's only a logical strategy if there are a clear top two kids way better than all the others, and you just have to get them.

Doubt they would do it this year unless they somehow acquire another 1st rounder. If the roles were reversed I doubt we'd do it either.

They've had a mare, they got spooked by West Coast not acting quickly enough and didn't want the same to happen to them.

Melb won't trade 5 & 9 for 2, 5 gets them one of the big 5 mids in FOS, Lalor, Smith, Langford, Draper. 9 prob gets them Armstrong, Trainor, etc. Massive overs given what they'd miss at 9.

North want Tauru, so the shift from 2 to 6 not a factor in terms of lost opportunity.

6 & 20 should be a win for them. Plenty still on the board still at 23-4, and they get their main target plus a quality player. The shift for us is much bigger given the step in quality in mids from 6 to 2, but we lose 20. I could see 18 happening at a push, don't like it from our POV.
