Australian cricket team is way to old, they need to drop Cummins, starc, Hazelwood, lyon, marsh, and a number of the other elderly statesman. Lets bring in youth we have a number of potential stars who are under 22years of age.
Who are these potential stars under 22?

Dominant day by India. I expect they'll bat through the day and try to pile as many overs in the heat into our Quicks as possible. We're lucky the second test doesn't start until the 6th and isn't a back to back jobby.

We should start getting some assistance from the pitch again by the third session but that's pretty much the death sentence for our batting chances anyway.

Heading to an extremely comprehensive India win. Our bats absolutely binned the test in one session.

Same 4 bowlers that couldn't get it done Vs India in the last 2 home series, can't get it done again

What a surprise
I'm not sure we should be laying blame at the bowlers TBH.

They did the job in the first innings only to be let down by the batters.

Whose next in line anyway?
Probably Boland and I reckon he's not in the same class as the other 3.

If Fergus O'Neill isn't the next cab off the rank then we need a rethink of selection policies.

Boland is good to have in the squad so he's not taking Shield cricket off the younger options though.

Cummins is the only bowler I'd say was poor yesterday. Edit: Marsh was poor.

The others were largely sound and Hazlewood was excellent. Was fantastic batting, a flattening pitch, and tbh a real lack of intensity from the Aussies. Which I thought was bizarre, it's the first Test of the summer FFS.

And there's no chance Marnus was bowling 130s, what the heck.

Talking about young players who crumbled in Australia what ever happed to Shaw. Had massive wraps, got worked over and hasn’t been seen since.

Fitness and attitude, he played for my IPL side and he's really ballooned out.

They also rolled India for 36 in the last series only to get poorer as the series went on.

India don't fear those 4 bowlers, they've dominated them the last 2 series in Aus and this one is shaping up the same.

Not sure if it's Boland but the fast bowling cartel definitely needs a shake up

So could you call it a total whitewash for the remainder of the series. Can anyone see AUS winning anything from here forward. Totally pantsed. Pathetic attempts by Smith and Labby, are they goners? Remarkable bowling and batting by India. As mentioned by commentators, 1.5 billion cricket mad population, they have so much more cream to choose from...and they said there's a bunch of young talented batters like Jaiwul waiting in line!
When are we playing England next? :tearsofjoy:

Just need to play them at home with a team with a much, much smaller pool of players to choose from than we have.
