Fair call, and I'll concede that as far as natural talent for the game goes, few are better, but I still reckon the Careys, the Abletts (though he disgusts me) and Jakovich (Glenn, not the joke brother) overall performed better in their respective careers.
But of course, no bombers supporters...
Oh Touche - snappy comeback that one.
What I think I might have been hinting at is that Hird is a perfectly serviceable player, but given his injuries and lack of time onfield, I would not rate him as highly as you do, mind you that doesn't appear hard as it sounds like you might belt-off in...
Mainly, I despise Essendon beyond words that can be expressed, due mainly to:
1) Their god awful supporters
2) The dreadful scum that play for the team
3) The fact that the club and its players do and say as they wish, ********ting on the AFL and the game from a great height, with the AFL...
My thought is your in for a hard time on this board, speaking that brand of shiit.
Face it bloke, the Pies are huge pile of pigshiit as a team and as a club. Probably not their fault, but there it is.
I would have though the rioting, car burning and looting in the streets of Essendon would have been a dead giveaway.
BTW - did Stupido play his normal rib-tickling brand of footy?
Could be - I thought the dockers were the last non-vic team, but could have been brizzy. Never really cared that much about Vic park to check my facts.
They are the Collingwood knuckle draggers of the South. If you put all the Collingwood members together with all the Port members you'd probably be able to scrape together enough brain cells to get one of them into Tafe (not that they'd be able to afford it).
:D
I'm not convinced of that - most Collingwood members have probably been following the game for decades and are still pig-ignorant of the game. I had the misfortune to see the last game played at Vic Park against an interstate side (the dockers) and one of the Dockers players kicked out of...
I see the maggoty white are doing their best to get the Cats over the line. One has to ask, is it because they've got dollars on the result or is it all apart of the AFL's Season Management program.
Still, the only good maggot is a dead one.
Tonights Port/Essendon game was a corker, with some excellent high points;
- The rib tickling hilarity that is Damien Stupido's game
- The umpires with their tongues firmly wedged up Sheedy's arrse-crack
- The morbidly obese lumberings of Dean Raviolli
- Matthew "first time on ice skates"...
