Well more signs are showing that the party down at Bullioh is over no more Reid's, one Nichol forced into retirement and the other contemplating retirement, and after reading page 2 in Saturday's paper looks like the party starter Pete might be having an extended holiday. Sounds like their...
Andrew Reid definatly doing the Corryong job and has stole Dave and Adam Hanson from under feds nose, Tyrell and those 2 boys are ex team mates and have been talking for about 1 year.
Piltz back to Jindera
McEvoy back to Mitta
Steve Murphy is the talk for Walwa
There's recruits flying everywhere...
I'm guessing Beechworth will be looking for a new coach after suspending Nick Dillion from playing and coaching indefinatly not football related, Surrey has taken over.
One of the worst stories i've heard of a coach doing to his club, at least all the younger blokes will be happy now
With the final 4 now finalised, well done to Corryong i wonder which clubs will be already looking for new coaches, my guess is that Walwa and Feds will definatly be, they have fallin a long way behind with reasonable players in the their sides, they shouldn't be were they are especially Feds...
Jesse Dale is a gun and will be one of the leagues best forwards, lock in Corryong for 4th spot, he's been playing with Jarvis and Tyrell its a wonder they didn't push him to one of their old clubs
John Smedley to play his first game for feds this week, this kid is a gun, Feds to improve dramatically.
If Bullioh don't fire and win this week i'm changing my prediction of them winning a 5th flag, co-coaches don't work
Kiewa Sandy Creek vs Thurgoona - Chance here for a big percentage booster for the Hawks over the Bulldogs.
I also thought Thurgoona were missing alot of players out of yesterdays side in the paper, do you think they are just playing mind games or really do have alot out. No matter who wins...
I was at the game along with 500 other people and for the 10 Thurgoona supporters who saw it stop bagging a bloke who has been a gun ball player of the comp for the last 10 years. From the other 490 people who saw it yes he did give him a little jab to the chops but your kidding yourself if it...
Im putting it out there that i think Corryong will have their first win this week in a few years as most of us have seeen they definatly have improved and with Jenkins out for the next 5-6 weeks it's going to hurt.
If this eventuates i think Corrryong will then go back to it's old ways and get...
Has Ben Parker even been playing footy last i remember of him he was a hotdog stand boy.
Heard today that Clancy, Ryan and Leigh McEvoy, and Hamilton only played a one off so they wouldn't lose to Corryong and Cohen has only played 1 game and hasn't been sighted since, and Fraser left after 1...
i know it's only the end of round 3 but a few things we know so far.
The Wagga boys at Tumba and the Jindera boys at Cudgewa can seriously play.
Hawkins seems to be a good appointment with Butters playing great footy he has them there abouts.
I don't think co coaches is working at either club...
Cudgy's recruits are serious players it will take a good side to get them off the top of the ladder.
Whispers going around that some Corryong boys are already thinking about leaving after 1 game won't hurt them they must of played well, and that Feds list maybe tested with alot of injuries from...
Corryong your kidding yourself Paton wont play with you, if i remember correctly the Paton and Tyrell's are very close and if was going to the upper murray i dare say he would be playing with Feds, try win a game and gane some respect the only players you recriut are nuffy's who cant get a game...
thurgoona were 16 goals up at half time and it only got worse, thurgoona had alot more players missing than magpies as well, they looked very impressive
i wouldn't imagine mcevoy would leave he is pretty good mates with kp and i think they work together, not much has been said about feds recruits mcevoy could kick 80 along with john smedley the same, which could make sharp even more dangerous.
With kp not coaching he could turn back the clock he...
How much will Cudgewa improve? Voight played well for Beechworth monday night and Jarvis went well for Rand last night, losing your 2 best players is always hard to cover, who else has left them? Seems as though them Tumba and Feds have just replaced what they have lost.
I think the ladder...
how did corryong recruits go on the weekend,
I don't think Bullioh will be as strong as previous years losing Curran,
M. Nichol, Landy, S.Reid, and B.Nichol Mark Nichol and Hickey saying there not playing all of the games may hurt
Premier: Barny
Wooden spoon: Wodonga Saints
Biggest slider: Rutgherglen
Biggest Improver: Chiltern
Barton Medaliiist: 3 way tie Dodd, Cook,Reynoldson
Leading goal kicker: Cook 95
Recruit of the year: Dodd
Headline you will not see: Tallangatta draw with Saints in a shoot out
In theory it would be the best thing to ever happen to the league, i think it would give the league credit outside the upper murray. But the practical side is that it would probably destroy the league, every club knows how hard it is to compete financially against Bullioh who are so much closer...
Rat is close mates with Feds coach and with Max not at Tumba i say he will definatly be at Feds this year.
I see all the Riverena boys going to Tumba have been cleared there is another player in the race for premiership contention, and if the John Smedley is the John Smedley that played at Lavi...
Does anyone have a practise match this weekend, the pre-season comp starts this monday time to start getting excited lads.
I don't think anyone has shown their full hand yet bar maybe Thurgoona, this could be one of the most open years with everyone expecting to improve :thumbsu::thumbsu::thumbsu:
Looks like cudgewa have bucked their trend of recruiting old blokes and have signed Mulligan and Nankervias from Murray Magpies. Well done to them looks like the same 2 teams will be playing off in the final this year
