Oh sorry, I get you now, you mean the creases? HFK actually do have very faint ones, almost unnoticeable though.
In the past, I didn't have them (my other site it Pride In The Jersey - Gaelic games) in the past but then felt they needed some extra oomph, I suppose I might be losing something in...
Re: Soccer/Association Football Kit Discussion
It's even more pointless really, as this season's one can be worn against teams in white or teams in stripes, but the halved one can't
Re: Soccer/Association Football Kit Discussion
Are you sure about that SA, in FIFA06 Arsenal would have had the redcurrant kit, no?
As to the current season's kit and the socks change, my guess is that Nike originally included red socks to differentiate from last season as the two strips...
Re: Soccer/Association Football Kit Discussion
@SilentAlarm - the Ireland shirt with the Opel sponsorship was for from April 2000 to sometime in early 2001, a pity that it was such a short time time as it was a lovely kit. www.classicfootballshirts.co.uk have it in from time to time though not...
Seeing as the series itself isn't that much of a contest, you might like to take a look at the almost-completed page, with just Aussie goalkeeper shirts and captions to be added.

If you hover over a strip it shows it, or click on it for a larger image. Been trialling a few different ways to give info on kits, it's been bugging me!
Thanks Lee, there was a series in 2002, not sure why there are no pics? I'm pretty much sorted for the earlier series too, bar 1990 for some reason. In 1986 and 87, Ireland wore sleeveless shirts - even though in 87 it was on in Ireland :/
Following on from something in the footyjumpers.com thread, I've started creating images of the strips worn in the Compromise Rules/International Rules competition.
For no particular reason, Australia 2008 is the first one I've completed, available to view on my Gaelic games kits site, Pride...
Re: www.footyjumpers.com
Cavan used to be very good in the 40s and 50s but have really fallen away nowadays. They used to be as precious as Essendon about changing colours though. (By the way, if all this Paddy talk is hijacking the thread, maybe a mod could move post about Gaelic to the...
Re: www.footyjumpers.com
My site, Pride In The Jersey is a Gaelic football rip-off of Mero's site, I'd hope to include International Rules jerseys (Australia and Ireland) fairly soon.
A mixture of a failure to find pics from the 1990 tests, the awfulness of Ireland's kits and laziness have...
Re: What should happen...
The red and green reflected port and starboard, so how about keeping the top and bottom chevrons purple with the middle one green on the right and red on the left (from wearer's POV)? Could so similar on home, make the bits between the white chevrons like that
Re: www.footyjumpers.com
I suppose it'd hardly work either if you did a version of the logo with the product typre replacing the actual brand name, e.g. have 'BURGERS' written in place oh Hungry Jacks, in the same font?
